Glad to see another blader has been born! I’ve been skating for 30 years now. I have a laundry list of injuries and fibromyalgia from thousands of slams. I’m still skating despite all of it at 40 and I don’t plan on quitting. Have fun man!

If you get hooked on it, it's hell of a drug. Also if you have some ok salary, the skate shopping never ends. I really like how you talked about it in layman's terms, I always catch myself talking in jargon and I recently heard some kids call it "90's slang talk". I could imagine aggressive bladers talking about tricks and gear sounds like tribal code language to others .

Love the feedback man, I try so many sports and get hooked on most of them but every sport has its own language and I try to avoid using it on video cause odds are I’ll mess it up 😅

Lol. Do you remember what you said? I was a late 90s early 2000s skater. Just got some sways last summer and realized it’s harder to jump with 20 lbs I didn’t have back then lol

Hats off to you for trying something new, and your commitment! That mizou was dope dude. There is so much joy to be found in just the simple act of skating and exploring. Grinds are amazing, and the sensation of a laced grind is like no other. Just keep going! you're doing great. Please report back on your progress.

I came here for rollerblading content, which there was, but I had to sub simply because of your jovial nature. It's contagious. I went hard on aggressive inline grinding down rails and all of that almost daily for about 12 years straight. I have a lot of good memories, but I also have a titanium hip at the age of 37, so be careful. Sometimes the glory isn't really worth the long term effects of the failures. :) Thinking about taking up wizard skating though. The Mushroom Blading guys (Todd and Joey) are very inspirational, and I need some low impact exercise in my life.

I started skating before there was info on the internet but totally relate to getting the wrong equipment, getting feedback from other kids in my neighborhood or the skatepark about doing it wrong, switching between flat, antirocker, freestyle... skating continues to be fun 28 years later, always something new to learn

the main thing people neglect to tell beginners is that they should spend a good couple of years literally just learning to operate on the skates by just skating around; you need to essentially be able to have it feel as natural as walking before you do 'aggressive' stuff imo as it's way more dangerous if you don't, plus having all the practice on basics means when you get to the big boy stuff you can do it with nice style/without feeling embarrassed lol. I think that's the single biggest mistake people make man, if I were you keep with the aggressive skates but practice doing standard urban skating stuff with them for awhile first etc. Sorry for the ramble

Awesome glad you liked it! I am still skating I mostly do aggressive but find myself mixing it with urban often. The goals to learn every sport so I want to try other things as well but I find inline skates to be so fun that it will likely remain a large part of my channel.
