    Man those things rip around the track. Way faster than the ones I had as a kid! You have a heck of a layout there and I am sure it can be a lot of fun and get pretty competitive as well! I can see where it would be a nice stress relief to go out and rip around the track for a while especially with the variety of cars you have!

    I don’t know how your car stay on the track so well, especially with the twisties my brother just set up a track and they don’t stay on that. Well I think because he put paint down each track to signify each different color.

    Hi we been racing since we been kids. You can try changing the rear tires to silicone ones and that will help. on rubber stock tires rub a very small amount of WD40 into the tires and it will make them start gripping much better. Do you glue or screw down your track to the table?

  • @ShenRC

    @ShenRC

    4 ай бұрын

    Hi I never screw down a track that makes it very bumpy. You can use a small dab of SHOE GOO to hold it down. With this layout I had tiny braid nails every so often following around the tracks edge one opposite the other on the other side of the track leave a little wiggle room so the track can expand and shrink when temps change. This will hold the track from being able to be slid around and make it stay in place and then in turns or anyplace that the track was warped up or lifted I used a small dab of the shoe goo glue on the bottom and put weight on the track and let it dry and it will hold it down for a smooth layout. This way you can lift up most all the track sections if needed to do anything on them. there's all tricks to making a track run smooth grinding tab locking lumps off all tracks and using metal track clips and also running a T jet car and in every spot it jumps or pops you can grind out the track joint and make it smoother in the connection of two track and do this with a T jet in all lanes until it drives around very smooth and with magnet cars it will drive like a dream! O and please check out our new slot channel BS Slot Cars every things going on over there now!! Hope this helps.
