The goverment brought this on themselves by opening the gates for everyone to come in and use our NHS for free, taking Resource from the citizens of the UK or people that are here ''Indefinite leave to remain''. Anything short of that and you should pay. Thats the way it should be, but thats not the case. And thats why people voted out.

We didn't have to do this. We don't want a federal European state, we're not all the same people, there's differing cultures, religions and political beliefs, you can't just merge people into something without their will or thought and why would we want to create a state that rivals Russia or China and the US? Do you want a new cold war? If anything the EU is the one antagonising Russia with multiple military bases in eastern Europe and with the current EU leadership I definitely don't want a European mega-state run by these unelected bureaucrats who' are completely out of touch with reality.

+Kit Ingoldby I get the impression from many of the Bremainers (Bremoaners) that the wretched plight of the EU states in the Mediterranean Basin is simply being ignored. The 'rich' north appears to have the attitude the misery in the south is somehow nothing to do with them - in fact it's the south's own fault for not being more like the Germans. My feeling is there will be a 'revolts' in the south, followed by defection by some of the north's North Sea EU states. The EU is just too rigid, doctrinaire, bureaucratic, disorganised, autocratic and corrupt - far too much time, effort and money has been spent by eurocrats contemplating their navels.

  • @gordonsmith8899

+Kit Ingoldby I agree, listening to Bremainers EVERYTHING in the EU is just short of perfection. The seeming indifference to the plight of the people living in the Mediterranean states is a disgrace and the clearest evidence that the EU doesn't give a damn about people and that Brexit was the only sane path for the UK.

Thank you Angel Dust, everyone I speak to gets hung on economics, money, equality, all these things which in my own view pale into insignificance about what this vote was for, it was democracy over a breed of communistic/socialist style union of the EU. While in the UK, 47 times bills were passed that the UK government, and it's people did not agree with, and 47 times when we battled against it we lost - if anyone thinks that was a democracy, you are living in noddy land.
