Today, we're making Rosé Tteokbokki! This is the perfect Tteokbokki for people who can't handle spicy well. We'll use a small dab of Gochujang Paste and mellow it down with heavy cream & milk. Let it cook away to turn into an amazing gochujang cream? This is a new way to eat Tteokbokki!

This came out so delicious! I used pork belly instead of sausages and green onions and Korean peppers instead of broccoli. I used a shredded cheese mix that had Colby cheese in it, but did not use parmesan cheese. I boiled my eggs for 10 minutes instead of 7 minutes. Thanks for inspiring me to try this recipe! I knew it was going to be good based on your reaction. I know that when a person likes their own cooking, they are in trouble. Lol!

@@falconette8911 Feel free to steal it! :-D I didn't want to use bacon and I knew I probably wouldn't be able to get the same sausages as in the video. So, I went with pork belly. Yum!

I love how the "mmm.. mmm.. mmm.." at the end is all you ever need to know that this is a tasty dish 😋
This can be the Korean mac and cheese

Exactly what I was thinking. Except cheese, milk, and cream counter the hot spiciness so I kind of don’t see the point.

I just want the traditional cheese sauce smothering thick chewy ricecakes 😋

@Jjyu Woah calm down, it's natural for people to compare things to other things that they are more familiar with. No need to be offended by such something that doesn't have any malice to it and to be honest, you're a lot more offensive with the whole "white people" thing.

Actually you're right. It is!
daniel -- not sure if you'll read this, but i just want to let you know that despite all the other 떡볶이 recipes on youtube (even searching in korean!) that this is by FAR the ultimate 로체떡볶이 recipe, and always my go to. i try not to eat it too often but i'm always so excited when i get to eat it again and always refer back to this video. something about your recipe and taste for 떡볶이 absolutely hits the spot every time! ♥️
And he does it again! I literally just got home from H Mart. Too bad I didn’t check this video out before hand. It’s ok I’ll be going back tomorrow to get the ingredients for this lol.
Creamy dishes are right up my alley so I'm definitely trying this one the next time I'm craving one Also I've seen these sausages in many korean dishes by now, they look so incredibly tasty for some reason...~
Ok, mouthwatering!!! Have to try it! Thank you for the recipe. ^^
This looks terrific Daniel! Can't wait to make it! Those sausages always look so good to me. Looks absolutely scrumptious. Can never go wrong with tteokbokki!
Omg I'm drooling just imagining the taste! Gotta find that gochujang asap

This was such a delicious dish. Thank you for the recipe!
Omg,this looks amazing 😍🙌🙌
I love this recipe! Really hope you'll upload the written version to your site soon!
This recipe turned out so good. Other recipes only use milk, and I think the heavy creme in this recipe really makes it stand out. The sauce is the perfect consistency. Thank you!
I love eating these with some noodles too! So yummy
Wow amazing never thought of this combo before thanks for the recipe idea 💡
This looks delicious!
I need this one!. Already put this vid onto my browser as of my next recipe. Thanks for this yummy looking dish.. I have to try
It looks so good and so easy to make!
The best tokbokki version ever!
I've been OBSESSED with tteokbokki for almost 2 years, now. Haven't tried the rose version yet, but I already know it's gonna be another favorite.
tried this today with 3/4 cup (for one portion) of just fresh whole milk, since we usually don't buy cream, and it turned out wonderful! I was worried it would be kinda empty tasting without the cream but it's thick and super tasty, I didn't even have to salt it or thicken it. I put in cheese filled rice paper cakes and it was just perfect.
I made this tonight and it was awesome!!!
I am so trying this thank you for the upload
This was an amazing recipe!
I'm eating this right now and yall- it's heavenly

Just made this using frozen udon noodles instead of rice cakes bc that's what I had. Turned out amazing! Nice recipe Daniel. I will try it with actual tteokbokki next time I go to Korean market.
Korean Italian fusion seems like the mix the world needed
I have been waiting for this recipe my whole life, and I didn't even know it!

I tried this but with pasta instead, absolutely delicious!
This is elegant Tteokbokki! I want to make this during the week. It just looks so amazing! You can never have too much cheese.
I made this, although without fishcakes (I am not very fond of it) and parmesan (I didn't have). Simply awesome!
Yummy I will try to make this
I enjoy your videos and have made your delicious easy to follow recipes but what makes your videos extra special is your great sense of humor! You crack me up! Keep it up!
YAYYY FINALLY I WAS JUST 41 MINUTES LATE (HOPE WOULD HAVE BEEN EARLIER) BUT THIS IS MY EARLIEST. LOVED THE RECIPE IT WAS A GOOD NEW VERSION OF THAT SPICY TTEOKBOKKI
Love korean food... tteokbokki 😍
Love this
Genius!!
So good. So nice.
ты-прекрасен, и рецепты твои-замечательные!
woohoo, i finally made this 😋🤤
Absolutelly wonderful! We (my doughter and me) made it with bacon. We couldn’t find fish cakes and forgot broccoli. We cut up some cucumber for some crunch and it was delicious! Yummy!
I cant wait to make this..........
lol the face at the end said it all, great dish!
Delicious!!!!
Right after I saw this I went down to the grocery store in my apt building to grab some rice cakes. (I already had everything else at home.) When I took it over to the table for my husband and son to eat, they looked really scared to try it.😆 But once they took a bite, they both kept talking about how good it was and were fighting over the last piece. My husband was especially shocked since 80% of the time he always has some complaint about how I cook rice cakes.😅😅 (For good reason. I really do mess it up often. Oops!)
I see your every videos they are amazing
I tried this today, the sauce was perfect! I don't have any ingredients though, so I made the sauce following the recipe exactly but for the other elements, I just used what I had. I cut up some chicken breast and cooked them with the onions (rather than sausage or bacon), added (homemade!) dduk, boiled eggs, and green onion. It was delicious! Thanks for another great recipe!

You can do a light version!
Marvelous! Do I have to change anything about the method if my tteok don't come frozen?
I made this today and it was delicious. I added some ramen too
Hhm gonna make this next time I crave tteokbokki 😋
OMG, thank you Danyuuuuuul, for a less-spicy recipe for these amazing little rice cakes I've fallen in love with. Funny you added parmesan at the end, because it occurred to me as I watched that the sauce is pretty much alfredo. You could simply use 1.5 cups of Half-n-half, by-the-way, those that live in the US where it's readily available at most grocery stores. If you have a lighter recipe that is not spicy for Tteobokki, I'd love to see that too!
Lmaooo the way I got one pack of heavy cream almost expired and thanks god this video showed up. I made it and it was really delicious Daniel. FYI I was too lazy and didnt have anything so I just added cream and bacon. It works really well 💯💯
I'm latose intolerant, so I opted to use water instead of milk (plus i did not soak my rice cakes and blanch the broccoli beforehand). I still used heavy cream, cause fake milk creamers taste weird when you cook with it. Also, added a few cremini mushrooms while cooking the onions, came out spicy and creamy and AMAZING.
Super cool channel dude!
If I wasn't lactose intolerant I would eat that up in a heart beat...looks sooo good..
I spent half of today making shoyu tonkatsu ramen. I'm trying this tomorrow for lunch!! 😮
The final speechlessness
Made this last eve....SOOOO DELISH! 😋🍷
Lol... Daniel speachless?!?!? It must be as it looks, delicious!! 🤗😋

This seem so good I love cheese I am gonna try this minus the fish cake
This looks great! I've tried the original version before and it was delicious, but too spicy for me. I feel like I might be able to handle this version, I'll have to try it :)
5:03 you look like a happy child. Lol literally like a child 😂 definitely gotta try this! 😍

Looks awesome. I have to fine a recipe that uses nut milks but thanks for sharing this recipe
I just tried the recipe and it was amazing. I put just a spoon of gochujang and added a teaspoon of buldak sauce instead of the chili flakes, green onion instead of broccoli and 1 cup and a half of milk bc i had no cream. Best tteokbokki i ever made, i can't handle spiciness very well but this was BOMB!! Thank you so much 🥰

@@PersonWithStupid37 not at all! I just doubled the milk dose to 1 cup and a half, if it's too runny though you can always let it simmer a little more so that it thickens! I made this recipe a lot in the past year and i always put only milk and never cream :)
Is this fusion rather than authentic? Looks good.
