Although not an actual prequel... The movie "the virus" has a quality which is equal.

So the fuel in the car was probably bad after 2 years yet they are sitting and eating beside a perfectly clean and clear in ground pool because everyone knows what happens to an untreated pool in a very short time 😂

Good buddy movie, a reasonably compelling movie on a shoestring budget, has all the elements of a pilot.

This was a great movie! It started out a little slow but it really picked up and i was on the edge of my seat for much of it. Quinn reminds me of my 2nd oldest daughter in looks, hair, facial piercings and handiness and Ellie reminds me of a younger version of my friend's younger sister. I started it awhile back but don't too far into it. It came up again today so i finished it. I'm glad i watched it!

That was quite a good movie. Especially for a low budget one.

She sees a couple of vehicles approaching, and stands in the doorway, long enough to be seen.

Thoroughly enjoyable and exceeded my expectations many times over. Thanks for posting.

I thought it would be another zero budget rubbish film, but it's not. It really grabs you - and it is so believable.

Who's keeping up mowing the lawns and landscapes? Who is cleaning and maintaining the pool?

I'm kind of amazed at how good this turned out. I'm a pretty tough critic so that's saying a lot. This is worth watching.

When l am watching a movie l do like to be hooked and with this one it did through to the end

This was a lot better than I was expecting. Two young actresses can't have a lot of experience, right? Well the two leads here did extremely well, both characters were believable. The stalkers did what they needed to, and the few other support characters were a bit "ish" though. Although the pace was slow for the most part it was well filmed, it does look like an area that's got good light which is helpful, but the photography and production were again more than expected. I did see what appeared to be two continuity errors, those things bug me if I notice them, but it didn't detract from the over film. The kind of script that could be left as is, or have a sequel, or perhaps a sequel in ten years time would be interesting. Definitely needs a better thumbnail though, the current one makes it seem like it's going to be a blood and gore zombie apocalypse film, whereas this is more thoughtful and crafted.

@@korhythepoet I wanted to be a long time ago before life took me on a much more mundane path. I've made a handful of short videos (with friends or university projects) but a long time ago and nowhere near the standard of this piece. One of the most interesting things I ever did was again some years ago, organised a film festival for local makers in an area of the UK. From that in particular I know how much honest opinion and praise can help those involved. I don't know if any of those involved will ever see my comment but if they ever do I hope that they'll see that I am recognising their talent, and I hope they have continued with film work.

@@korhythepoet PS, if you were involved, great work. Remember, every superstar actor and actress, every expert technical crew, and every director started off as amateurs with no budget and big dreams. This movie shows that the cast and crew are already on the right path.

Original, clever storyline. It's getting more difficult thinking of all the ways that could play out in the end times. You have to suspend many shortcuts, in favor of the story line. Buy into it and you'll enjoy it. It's well written, directed, photographed, etc. Good job.

I love survival movies, it's very interesting and you'll find out how not to do it in real life.

I didn't think that I would enjoy watching this movie and this was after reading some comments but I hit play anyway and then I got sucked in to the movie and it was pretty good I really did enjoy watching this movie. So if you're on the fence about watching this movie just do it you will enjoy it and you might learn something new you never know. I give it five stars 🤩⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍👍

I think that this is the kind of movie where a sequel could pick up the story immediately after or even years later. I hope all involved keep at it, but I would be interested to see one set years later, with both main actresses and their characters older, and reflecting on where they got to in the future.

Not bad at all. There are some loopholes but you can let it pass. Enjoyed it.

47:03 in Quinn makes 2 mistakes. Standing up ON TOP of the ridge, Sticks out big time. LAY DOWN. and 2.. the Goggles on her head/hat... those lenses reflect light.. those goons down below might see the sun flash/glint off them, take em off when observing the bad guys. 54:30. Never walk in the center of an open field. no cover or concealment.

this was good...I would've played up the survival aspects a bit more...Quinn teaching Ellie survivalist skills...

Even though this is a movie, this lady in the precede in the Army. Clothes is absolutely right when you're bugging out. You're brought up by yourself with the company and other people of the people get you caught and then you can't trust people even in today society you can't trust no one I don't trust no 1 right now. Anyway, she got it so right. I love this girl. I love the way she's doing it. I'm learning some ideas from this girl. Indoors affectional movie. But that's the best way to survive on your own. Not caring other people with you.

I watched this while waiting for some paint to dry, I wish I'd have watched the paint instead.

Wasnt expecting much. Pleaseantly surprised It was kinda slow, but did not get bored. Lotta anticipation. Good Movie. The dialogue kinda made the m9vie in my opinion. Maybe Quinn is the new Sigourney Weaver??????

Good Movie I like thses kind movies

This so incredibly sweet and well done on so many levels, that the characterisitic ridiculous tactical nonsense - well, it can't be forgiven, but it can be overlooked...same for the pristine appearance of all the elegant home sites, the totally clean pool, and the modern vehicle, designed for E10 fuel running on pure alcohol.
