After months of agonizing over this, I've finally decided to publish my story. I chose today simply because it is one of the most significant dates in my life. You'll find the reason in this very long video - but, briefly, this auspicious date is my late grandmother's birthday, and I was born in the 2nd month, on the 8th. The main reason for why I chose this date is mentioned in this video. This is also a very auspicious week in our Hindu calendar 🙏🏼
Thank you Abey, for assisting me with the instrumental audio, these are Hindu songs and religious hymns - I used these for courage and strength to carry out this task, but also in prayer that it will guide my story to many victims. I pray that my story will result in positive healing and hope for many rape, abuse, suicidal, and GBV victims. 🙏🏼 It's not easy for a mother of teenagers to put their personal lives on a public platform, but my kids, husband, and parents encouraged me to do this, mostly so that young women can find hope again. This is not a pity party, this is a success story - please treat it with respect and care.
