how do you scale it up?

I need to edit something similar, except parts of the video move infront of the replaced video, so they become hidden when they go to that object. Imagine if the person holding the phone goes over the screen with their finger, the finger would get hidden behing the new screen. How do I make it so the finger is above the new video?

Great question - for this you would take advantage of the chroma key - so adding your superimposed media on the bottom layer after keying out the screen will leave your content that crosses over the screen! Hope this helped

This was a fantastic tutorial thank you! I am getting a weird white border around the animated clip and not sure what thats from. Its a thin white line and cuts in and out? any ideas on whats causing this?

could be an alpha channel poking through or if youre quality is set to half or quarter sometimes artifacts show up that aren't really there. Hope this helps

can this be done with live footage? for example I wish to live stream a game to twitch and in that game I have a tablet mounted on the dash of a vehicle and wish to have it display to my audience the live streams chat window

That's not after effects. That's OBS. You can make the tablet on the dash with After Effects, but the footage and the mapping has to be done on OBS or equivalent.

You can either adjust the skew of the overlay or make sure your layer is precomped before applying the tracking data so it maintains the same proportions as your comp

the main video comp is 9*16, with a standard laptop inside, what helped is the the precomp of the solid layer should be horizontal (needed to fix it), after it automatically create a vertical one since the main comp is vertical@@linestodesigns

The tracking points are really hard to select; how do I get is so I'm able to select the actuall tracking point and not the borders? It won't let me.

So I figured it out, it's only when the cursor is black while hovered over that you can move them, it's very finicky though, most of the entire area doesn't cue it to be the black cursor.
