if anyone is having trouble with how long the stars are lasting in the beginning (at 3:00 mins), you have to change the longevity to about 50 or more seconds

Where is the Track z camera roll in the 2020 version of after effects
I started watching this video and thought, "If this looks so good and is only 12 minutes he's probably gonna rush it and make jump cuts and it's ultimately gonna be a bad video." Then one minute thirty seconds in you've literally created space without jump cutting or speeding up the video and i'm just in awe.
You should make a long beginner series. I just watched a 9 part series for blender, and now I know how a lot of things work. I've watched countless tutorials of yours, and still sometimes I don't know why/or what I'm doing when I add an effect. It would be helpful, and a lot of people would view it (:

Nice Tutorial, As usual. Thanks Josh. I watched lot of your videos and learned.
lovely tutorial. I just started After Effects and this was simple to understand and follow.
when you do the key frame and the drag that's where i get lost at
I have waited for this for so long. This is like a dream come true
For TRACK Z CAMERA TOOL PRESS C multiple times
i love when you said ''that sounded nerdy''
In case you are having the same problem I was, here's a little time saving tip, make sure your have your processor set up to Classic 3D, otherwise you won´t be able to make the layers 3d and blend them at the same time

Do you know where the Track tool is in the 2020 version!
9:57 Dat was savage boiii
I've been watching your videos a year ago. Your video has the best quality I've ever seen. I really appreciate it. Thanks to you, I learned about the After effect program through your various videos! I'm south Korean and I'm in the third year of middle school. my Dream is a youtuber:)
Do you think you can do this again with the 2020 version I don’t have the track z camera tool
Hey Josh, nice work!! I'm a motion designer at a TV station and I do a lot of simulation stuff. If you don't mind the request, could you do one episode (I'm hoping for a series) about human body motion graphics? Like blood flow, vessels, cells and body systems working. It would be great! Keep it up, your videos are amazing! AAA+++!
Thank you for your tutorial videos! I have watched several, and, each video has taught me something new about AE; They have even given me insight on how I can streamline my workflow, and inspired new ideas! Great work! Thanks again!
I thought you were gonna do each nebula from scratch. For the remaining tools, nice tutorial
I can't find track z tool. Who knows how to fix that? thanks!!
the opacity goes down after like 3 seconds by itsself and theres no keyframe on opacity
I love that you chose Star Trek "that's better" lmao :) Thanks for the tutorial!
You're my favourite motion graphic artist. I love your work.
No downloadable project? :c
Great tutorial I think using the shooting stars effect instead of particles would give the same result and save u some time
Thank you so much for this tutorial. It will help me a lot with my Kinetic Typography project! You're amazing.
Great tute! Bookmarked and liked. Thanks for the tip on Pexels, too; Great resource.

Can i ask you questions about something I could not understand
Not easy for someone just starting out. Be specific at the start of the video or in your description below (with links to some intro tutorials) about what basic tools within the program that people need to be familiar with. For instance, speaking quickly and assuming someone knows what you're referring to in "right here while this is max opacity" (2:16) while flicking your mouse around makes no sense to someone still learning about how layers and keyframes work. Let you mouse linger for just a few seconds longer than what you think is reasonable, then add another second or two, to makes sure people are following along. I needed to put in several hours on very basic level tutorials to even think about attempting this a second time.

Great Tutorial, but can someone help me as to why when I turn the nebula image into a 3d layer it removes the blending mode?

@@AZTEC93aztk Yeah, but After effects can only export what you see on active camera. Is there any other idea to REALLY solve this?
where can we get the final file :(
I'm having and issue with my particles dying. If I set longevity up to match my comp length, they take 2 minutes to reach full opacity, which sucks. How did you get your to stop dying out beyond 30 second?
THANKS A LOT !

Hello bro, can you tell me a effect name of video title? that SONDUCK FILM. thank you.
ALL your tutorials are great and I appreciate that you post these for the world to see. May I recommend less coffee? You talk so fast and its hard to follow along. BUT... Again, they are all fantastic and I learned so much!
Awesome SONDUCK! Thank you for the amazing simple tutorials! How can I do a reverse flow? Like flying backwards smoothly, through space and then logo to reveal it? Appreciate it.
Awesome!! Trying it for an idea. How can I speed up the camera traveling through the stars much faster? Appreciate it!
Thank you!! :-)
Friend thanx a lot!!

i just wanted to know we cant see that many stars through nebula how to reduce star visibility of the stars just behind the nebulas
Hi, do you have a tutorial on your SUNDUCKfilm opening title? Thanks
Hey, using After Effects 2022 here, not CC, and for the life of me I just cannot get this to render properly. Might have screwed up along the way somewhere but whenever it DOES decide to render, it'll render as a single jpeg for reasons I cannot figure out. Anybody got any tips? (Also rendering as a QuickTime Animation RGB + Alpha)
anyway we can just download this?
How to get loop for particles to 20 minutes? :(
awesome
Please give the link of these images, making it with different images does not give me the same effect
Is there a way to mask out a portion of the stars? Each time I try to use the mask tool it doesn't affect the stars at all.

you should have put every image link in description.
hey i did the same thing that u did and made an intro of my own but my mines not smooth its choppy what could've i done wrong?
There are too many particles blinking. Your sample indicates that there is no blinking at all.
@martinstatelov3969

When you look at playback with lower quality, small stars will appear as blinking because sometimes they are rendered, sometimes not. When you actaully render, it wont blink
