After Effects character animation | BIGGEST mistake
Фильм және анимация
✨Motion Practice Quest: xpguild.com/motion-practice-q...
Character animation in after effects is hard...and that's why most people are just bad at it. This tutorial will highlight one of the biggest mistakes I see and how to fix it using the Pose-to-Pose method.
The Pose-to-Pose method, and the workflow in this video, will help you break down any character animation making it the best method for character animation in After effects.

I'm glad you brought this up. There's no substitute for doing proper study on characters and everything that moves. There seems to be so many people wanting shortcuts. Honestly going through the study and learning this properly will last you a lifetime. The Animators Survival Kit will up your skill level so much.

Thanks! Yes, Thats exactly where I learnt the posing technique with hold keyframes and some other key things you may have spotted! This technique seems completely absent from youtube so I though the budding motion designers should hear about it!

@@MotionXP thanks man...really love what you're doing on here
10:00 the moment where the whole knowledge and animation really clicked together just from a single foot rotation. I have just 1 tip tho, be careful who you give the other earing, a friend of mine gave it to an old hag and he lost his youth and beauty. Other than that I already finished all videos of your channel and hopefully you give us more in the future.
