It's easy to be seduced by the memes and the satirical nature of American Psycho and to see it all as just a mere joke, but the book in particular really encapsulates the madness and despair of certain individuals, their suffering and the viciousness with which they inflict it on the world around them. He's been compared to Basshunter, but I think Mr Kitty has a far more bitter, cynical message in his music. Later in 2014, Mr Kitty released this, Time, his most accomplished album.
