I get annoyed by the FL weakness in the first 20 mins, and damn the ML absence 😂 why did they meet early in the first place if he will not be present in the next 15mins of FL sufferings 😅He came late and advice FL to take revenge😂 when he could have been there when this things hadn't happen.

Этот перформанс вполне в современном духе Нетфликс😂

This one was a challenge for me. 😳 I’ve seen the actress playing the FL before and she was a kicka$$, powerful character, so I was excited to see her again, not to mention the dude playing the ML has an innate sexiness (small smirks, hot smolder, subtle casual touches/caresses and passionate kisses) and a way of focusing on his FL that is VERY enjoyable to watch! 🤭 So for those reasons I was interested to see them together and had high hopes for this one! BUT. The first part almost made me stop. Really. I could feel my blood pumping, my anxiety rising and I found myself stress eating. (Seriously, I polished off half a bag of chips! 😅) Not only was the action upsetting, but it was so well acted and that added to the stress of the situation. I almost stopped. The main actors were the only reason I wanted to keep watching, and I found the only way I could continue was to skip all (and there were a lot 🙄) of the villains’ scheming/plotting scenes. I was only able to finish the show because thankfully the FL got smarter, and the FL/ML finally started working together. Thank goodness! I have to say, I do wish there was more of them together as a couple. They have a playfulness and a natural chemistry together that is enjoyable to watch, so it’s unfortunate that there was not more of that shown. They could have totally cut some of the villains’ scenes to make room for relationship development for the main couple, and that would have been preferable. I really hope that this couple is paired up again so we can see more of their dynamic! Overall, I’m glad that I finished, but I don’t think I’ll be watching it again. I would actually recommend it, but it’s not for the faint of heart! 😜

Well... I agree the main FL and ML need more romantic scenes.. Especially that hot smoldering ML (I wonder what his real name so I can look it up).. But antagonists got more scenes and dialogues I wonder if they get paid more.. You know, there are too many lines with different contorting faces.. They should get more 😂

Ok why do all the women in these dramas have to be so weak, seriously this gets a little old really quick. I get the damsel in distress plot but you make her out as strong then she is weak again, character writing needs to be better to be believable people. You can have a strong woman be in need of help but still have a strong character continued throughout the story, This is just a bit to much. The struggle scene with her grandfather and the cheaters is just ridiculous, even I could have gotten away from that guy to stop her from signing or hurting the old man and how could no one hear the yelling and not show up to see what is going on, seriously. Scriptwriters need to do better. Changing character traits in a story is like one of the biggest no no's in the writing industry, you don't change you character unless it is a "weak to get stronger" story but in this she was used not weak then she stands up for herself, again not weak but then when there is a struggle scene or whatever she backs down or just stands there crying and yelling stop, it might have worked it the male had done a better job making it look like he was actually restraining her but the way it was done, I would have nailed him you know where and what happened to screaming for help? Oh yes and let's not dismiss the fact that the male lead that helps her, seriously, did he just stand there and watch what they did to her just to come over and offer to help her get revenge? Really? And no one was there still just after the funeral to witness what they did and if my grandfather had been that ill all of a sudden with the way they know how people backstab, you would think they would have placed a monitor/camera in the room to keep an eye on him for emergencies. Is the father really that dumb, his one daughter shows up in a sexy red dress to a funeral and nothing? She dresses like her personality and it doesn't send up red flags at all?

There is too much violence and slapping in this movie. The international audience will think that we chinese people are so uncouth and violent in our everyday lives. We have 2 century of culture and dignified culture and slapping is taboo in upper class chinese families... don't depict the wrong message to the international audience.

@@seetohcheongwah1527to a certain extent I agree with you, but….. it happens all the the time in movies or shows. Certain people are portrayed only in certain ways. Everyone has their cultural things that are put out there and in just knowledge of someones else’s life or way of living. It’s overbearing or made to look really bad in these short dramas, but I’ve watched a lot of mainstream Asian tv shows and movies. I have to say there is a lot of this that goes on, just not as grandiose as they make it here. Especially women, and rich people. They all get worshiped, the wealthy are really mean and cold towards anyone blow them, anyone lower than another person gets bullied a lot. It’s the statues aspect that is always the issue, it’s all materialistic, and quite frankly, very sad. If your born poor you die poor unless you marry up. They depict poor people as idiots, dirty, and uneducated, so they are always looked down upon. No room for them to grow and make something of themselves without the help of someone else. The sneakiness of women and the brutality of them also is just terrible! They anything and everything to get their way. The adults are big babies, and put so much pressure on their children that they can’t live a happy life, a healthy life (not just the wealthy). It’s the society that’s around you that is depicted, if society doesn’t change, no one will.

At 23:55 The company buildings have no security or receptionist in these dramas. Anyone can interrupt the CEO/ director and enter whenever they please.

Vtip je v tom že pokud by někdo na mě takhle řval tak už asi nikdy na nikoho řvát nebude. Tyhle dramata postrádají základní logickou linku a to že opravdová osobnost na sebe řvát nenechá a pokud ano nebude odpovídat a vůbec jí to nerozčílí. Bude to brát jako hluk z ulice. Jo mimochodem bývala to zkoušela a nechci ji. Dokonce jsem si ji i smazal ze sociálních sítí po 30 letech nestojí mi ani za pozornost!

Fl to weak for this drama, absolutely despise the villain lady, what an irritating woman, spoiled the few minutes I watched. I could not watch this any longer, don't know if it's a good drama or not.

This was a good drama. Loved the leads. Good story. My only complaint is the romance portion. Zero kisses. Multiple slaps ok, kisses no? Oh, and they completely cut out any explanation as to why her child ended up being the male lead’s. They probably cut out the usual drunken/drugged scene at the beginning that explained it.
