I know I just wanted them to say that it is Yoruba, because Africa is huge! My Grandma is of yoruba ancestry. My grandfather has Igbo and Ibibio ancestry. I'm black American and my mother is Korean. I;m just tired of African getting slapped on things when the homeland is HUGE and Nigeria itself has many different tribes, some even travel through Nigeria, others exist in multiple countries such as Yoruba, who live in neighboring Benin and Hausa who also live in neighboring Niger. I know very well what my ancestral culture is, I just wanted the clarification. Even the neighboring Igbo tribe has different names of our Arushi and Agbara, so it's God to clarify, the last thing we need is for people to run around thinking that Yoruba beliefs are the indigenous beliefs of all African people. We already know that there are stupid people out there who still believe that Africa is either a jungle, savanna or desert where people either starve or run from animals, or ride them or swing from vines. The last thing we need is more confusion!
