I have believed in Bastet since the late 1970's. But i did not know her name back then. Learned her name in school looking at books in the library. I think she has helped me survive many incedences that could have killed me. I thank her for the cats she gave me every day.
Gratitude! 🌠🐈⬛🔮💜🌚🌟My cat Ebony Nyx was sleeping on my tummy when this video/ channel was recommended to me. While my other cats 🐈 circled me all listening to the story. Amazing Devine Feminine Goddess Timing! 💙🌎💚OneLove dear ones
Bastet has come to me in dreams and told me I will be safe ❤
Like my late parents, whose love-affair with cats began with a black-and-white rescue cat they called 'Pishkin' whom they acquired to banish mice from the house, I like cats and find them fascinating, especially their ability to be both perfectly relaxed and perfectly alert when sitting on gateposts, walls etc and Keeping An Eye! I'm not at all surpised that the ancient Egyptians saw more to the cat than being a useful means of pest control. We live in a very utilitarian, minimalist and cynical world: videos like this are a necessary counter-balance.
Bastet is still around, I briefly visited her behind the veil a couple of years back. She accidentally revealed something to me that helped me with a serious problem. She still looks like a twenty year old. It was a shock for me to see a Goddess of Egypt in a tee shirt and shorts. I remember her veiled in black and gold, regal, a Princess. We were an item a long time ago. My magic still works where she is, so I gifted her with a few copies of some of her things from days gone by, including some of her old wardrobe. Bastet must have been very special to me, I still feel great warmth in my heart towards her even though my memories fail me in mortal flesh. She is still very special to me. I'm fond of a lot of the pagan goddesses, though, something that does cause me a bit of trouble from time to time. I'm trying to be more cautious in my relationships, seeking a bit more stability.

Beautiful Depictions of Bastet ❤
Looking forward to a video on Sekhmet 🥰🥰🥰
Awesome video/topic. Bastet is my absolute favorite of the Egyptian deities. I first became aware of her when she was featured in a December 1998 comic book of "Witchblade/Tomb Raider," and I have been fascinated of the cat-deity ever since. In recent years I even drew up my own rendition of Bastet entitled "Arrival of Bastet." The rendition was subsequently and still utilized as the thumbnail/title-card image for the audio-only KZread song-video of "Primitive Awake" by D-Vain & N. Dekker (in case there is any curiosity to see the rendition of Bastet.) Last bit: just an fyi, modern cat-experts have concluded that when a cat does that slow blink with their eyes, the action has been equivalated to a human giving a brief smile. 😸

Bastet is actually a Thracian princess and a High priestess that was married for the pharaoh. When she died she was buried whit a golden mask of cat. Later she was celebrated as a goddess.

Cats are always half in, half out. I swear my cat can teleport. I don't know how she gets to places she shouldn't be able to get into, especially without us seeing her but she does somehow. Cats are always half in, half out and they can see things that are either too small to see or that are part of the light spectrum that Humans do not see. So my query concerning Bastet is, could she see those same things? Did she protect us from those things that we ordinarily do not see? What exactly was her role, with examples? Bastet/Bast has always fascinated me. My cat definitely makes her rounds throughout the night, protecting us from whatever she encounters. She exhibits all of the "protective" behaviors and occasionally presents me with a trophy of her vigilance.

❤ hi Melissa, I agree - cats do have the ability to exist half in human reality and half in wild/spiritual reality. In my artwork, I often place cats in doorways, or not quite all there in the picture...Alice in Wonderlands "Cheshire Cat", is an excellent example of feline energy ❤ your Cat-Friend is fortunate to have found an enlightened human companion! ❤

I had a dream of a cat staring at me and everyone around me was confused about why the cat was there and I for some reason knew her name ! BASTET! And so I looked up the name 😊 I haven’t studied her before so it was surprising to me
Each day, I greet the sun with a prayer to Ra at sunrise, Hathor at noon, Tum at sunset and Kephra at midnight. After each prayer to the sun, I say another to Bastet to ask her to keep a place of honor and comfort for my recently deceased feline overlord until I can join him. She is worshipped still, although my ritual is different from the old way. It's midnight now so I've got a prayer to say. 🐈🐈⬛👑✌️🖖
Ive always had a special kinship with cats, though I love all animals. Now I know why. Ive seen her in dreams. Once when a cobra tried to attack me through a hole in a flimsy wall of a house on a lake's edge. I tried driving the snake back with a small white cat I had but it didnt work. Then a dark skinned black haired lady came in with a giant black panther that killed it with one swipe. The snake fell dead into the water and I thanked her. She walked out of the room with the panther and I went upstairs to see all these scared helpless kittens sitting on a ledge so I rescued them and took them with me. Another more recent dream was seeing her standing on a flat slab of stone cut in the middle with water flowing under it. Bast stood over it with a ball and she was looking straight at the horizon where the sun was just coming up. The river contained the souls of dead cats all floating under her and twoard a temple. Days later, my own sick cat died and I felt his ghost brush against my leg under my desk after that. I also had dreams about seeing him fir two months before he moved on. The most profound experience was saving an injured cat that had been run over in the road so he didnt get run over again. He didnt make it but I stayed with him till he died. It was the middle of the night in my small tiwn and nothing was open. Later I dreamed I saw the abandoned house where this happened next to. There was a light on inside and all the stray cats came into the yard staring at me. There was a golden retriever dog there too. I carried the dead cat in a white blanket and brought it to an old lady in the house. I wonder if that was Bast too. It seems Im a guardian or healer myself.
I Am what I Am. This is no Sham.
I hope Batet is the BFF of my cats. They passed away, with me last one passing a few days ago.
What I have been studying, the Egyptian gods and goddess, and originated from the Aununnaki, which cross bred with humans to have slaves
So Bastet was a Kahjit lol
❤
❤ Thank You, Mythic Arcana, for a exceptional video! ❤ Your Artwork is Divine! ❤ ❤ Thank you so much for bringing to life a Goddess whom I've been fascinated by since childhood (my mother found the Christian god when I was 6 years old, and I needed to embark on a hunt to find other deities that humans worshipped through the Ages, so that I could understand why my mother was suddenly changing everything about her life and she wanted to change everything that I believed in too. I was unsure about the Christian god, things didn't add up in my young mind, and I didn't like another person telling me what to believe in) I'm looking forward to absorbing your other videos too! ❤ Please credit the Artist and the Voice Talent, and add the suggestion to "Like and Subscribe" only twice, at the beginning and at the end❤😺❤ thank you! ❤😺❤

First of was Kemet. Second Bast and Bastet were real if you study anciant Kemetic history you will see they were the keeper of the cats of the halls of Ementi. They were husband and wife and Bast was magical cause he was a little one, and the kemets gave little one s reverence. Black people don't let these people tell you lies of your history.Did you know that conquer Kemet they armored themselv3s with cats cause the anciant kemetia ns would never harm one? Bastat cried.
