I've always loved this song. The only thing about this version it's missing the iconic bells. Those bells add so much.

So happy that this masterful disco classic has popped up here! It needs to be noted that the guitar player on the left is Nile Rodgers. After Chic he went on to be perhaps the premier American producer and writer. He was part of a tremendous amount of quality work from David Bowie, Diana Ross, Madonna ("Like A Virgin") and Lady Gaga. And so many others.

This style is ingenious and persists to this day. The founders (bass&guitar) started well and then wore off well. The singers should have gone their own way. I suspect it was contractually forbidden. Shame on the contract if it comes true.

This is some sort of remix of the song even though it's using the song's lyrics and the video of the Chic. The younger generation doesn't create any music and so, they alter original music and tried to pass it off as original music. If possible, to expose the younger generation to the original audio version of a song, and then, to its live versions and remixes. This is prompting me to request the original audio, but the horse is already out of the barn......

We "old heads" know it isn't the original ,( but as long as the youngins are feeling this mix version it's all good)! I love seeing the youngings enjoying our music . I actually feel sorry for them ,( they know they are stuck with garbage music today).

@@kelvinhardy6711 I always hope that the youngster on first listen experience the audio version of a song just like we did to get the full musical impact, and then, listen to the live and re-mixed version. Then they would be able to make a fair comparison.

Eh... Not the best way to listen to the song for the first time. It could have been worse. LOL. If she wasn't going to use an album version, I'd go with the live performance with Sylver Logan singing lead.
