They might be roughly the same size visually but their mass is nowhere near the same. That truck is mostly hollow. The big old box on the back is full of nothing but air, meanwhile that elephant is slam packed full of muscle and bone.

And the driver of the truck was an utter moron. The elephant is in a protected game park - the Kruger park - and has the right of way. The delivery drivers are told to stop and/or get out of the way of ALL animals. That is a bull elephant in must and they are totally unpredictable.

That was a bull in Musth (a periodic condition in bull characterized by highly aggressive behavior and accompanied by a large rise in reproductive hormones). He was dribbling urine, looking agitated, wrapping his trunk around his tusks - all commonly associated with Musth. They're more aggressive during this temporary state...likely to charge anything...looking for a fight

They are huge and regal. He’s like daring that truck to do anything. He beautifully made.

The Elephant keeps trying to disengage and back up but then the truck driver tries to go around him and the elephant takes it personally and re-approaches.

I think the guy in the truck is an idiot and at fault. He kept pulling forward and backing the elephant up as to challenge him. And yes the people in the car are stupid. They should be in awe of that Gorgeous boy.

@Damon Manda yes Damon, I realize they are working trying to make money. A lot of workers there are poor. Besides they see animals all the time. And you are right antagonizing the bull with a truck and could encourage people in cars and the bull don't care about the difference. However.... The truck drivers need to learn to be patient because that's how it is there. They can do other jobs or move. It the same problem for everyone everywhere. We all are in a hurry.

It’s not attacking anything/anybody, it’s eating.. it ran behind the truck because it wants human interaction... if it was harmful it probably could have turned the truck over..Aww it’s soo cute.. I want to feed it.. Animals living in the “Wild” don’t have a lot of human interactions.. it look like while it was eating he was observing the scene....This is not the zoo.. that’s his natural habitat..

Well and thanks to this "Karen", you were able to watch a video of a real wildlife encounter (not a documentary). If you think about yourself as a "wise and strong" character, that would for sure sit in silence and awe, while the wildlife unfolds in front of him, you might be mistaken. These people are just living their lives and documenting it. They have their right to be spontaneous in the moment as they are (as well as you have your right to write your disrespectful comment, sure).

Damon, I didn’t think you were defending the truck driver. I thought it was a good point that it teaches others they may could do it in a car😀You may never be in a hurry in S. Africa, but here in the good old USA we are in a hurry for everything. We don’t like anything to slow us down on the road😎but as with them we all have to learn to be patient about things we are powerless over.

Just a few comments 1. This bull is not angry, irritated, in fear, he is just assertively playful. Look at all the behavioural indicators. Passing the time of day giving the tourist's something to write home about 2. He is like a big dog chasing a car. He only chases when the truck is passing him. elephants are no joke. one time i saw a relatively mediocre size bull push over like a 50ft tall live tree that was a few ft in diameter just so he could eat the roots. i couldn't believe my eyes. you truly cannot comprehend the strength of these animals. & the bull in this video is bigger than the one i saw push over the tree. it could have tossed that truck like it was nothing if it wanted to.
