I gotta let you know how much I appreciate this video. Even though you you did this 4 years ago this thing was invaluable to me taking my bike apart and getting it together again. I had a couple of issues with each side of the fairing snapping into place exactly right but it's something that would be hard to explain on camera. It's just one of those things you gotta go through and figure out for yourself. The next time I have the bike apart it will go much smoother. Thanks again! 🙏👍

Thanks for the video. Thumbs up for Camel ADV. A big thumbs down for Honda though... c’mon guys, a service item like the air filter should NOT require this much headache with plastics. I have owned and worked on multiple Ducatis, and for as much as people bizatch about them, the air cooled ones are actually well designed for access for maintenance.

@@mungo75 Yup, I installed the VPS kit for the Africa Twin. I was looking at it after I commented, and the aluminum bars for the Barkbusters are pretty short, I don't think the handlebar top clamp style brackets would be long enough on their own to reach the ends of the Barkbusters aluminum bars. An extension of some sort would most likely be required.

Most brands of crash bars fit too close to the bike to be able to get the panels out. On the brands that have enough room to wiggle them out, you're likely to scratch the paint while trying to work around the bars. It's worth the effort to take them off first in my opinion.
