"You have no idea what God might do through one single act of obedience". I know what I need to do. I wholly surrender to you Lord Jesus. Holy Spirit send fire now on me. 🙏 Holy Spirit help those who need boldness to be more bold, help those who need courage to be courageous, those who need faith to be faithful. It is possible with God living proof!!❤ learned throughout life not too. People are NOT more than important in God in a selfish way. If you do with selflessness that’s another thing.

This video really touches me deeply in my time of trouble I truly want to please only God and get over my feelings of anxiety and questioning what others think of me and live for Jesus because he laid down his life so my sins could be forgiven which is the ultimate gift that no one on this earth can provide. I have to be grateful and patient because it is with God’s timing that I will receive my blessings and I have to stay in prayer and the word for understanding and to hear God calling out to me and resist those temptations from the devil.

I AM currently a people pleaser. But, I am working on changing that!😊

Thank you for continuing to stand with me for my breakthrough. God surely is at work and I long to see what He is doing behind the scenes.

@melaniemartin730, exactly! We shouldn't, but we do often fall into the trap of thinking too much what others think of us and living our lives differently because of it. We either hold our true selves back, or put forth an image that isn't really us. -- Jenni

I feel into people pleasing by becoming a business owner/ drug recovery. You do what it takes, you do whats uncomfortable, you have to answer the call, you have to make your sponsor satisfied or your customer happy. I forgot how to separate the YES! from my personal life

I so enjoy Craig. He gets to the bones of everything!! You can’t please all the people all the time, but…..I can please my God!,,,, when I was young, pleasing and saying yes to “everything was so important to me. What I found was that people used me as a doormat because well “she’ll do it”! What I realized that as I got older was to learn the word “no” really existed and it’s ok to say NO, I do fall short everyday, but everyday I try harder to please and glorify my Father in Heaven!

I have wrestled with this and have thought that i have overcome this pleasing others issue, but I am realising that I do hold pieces of my faith and Jesus back. It even causes me trouble now on how to share Jesus with love all of the time, instead I try to win arguments and not just leave with humility or not stepping on someones soul-toes(being too nice) when they need to hear Jesus. But now I will live in obedience and in judgment of Christ and not the world. I hope others who struggle with this will make this change consciously so they can help Jesus change others!
