I'll give it a try if content creators are actually making updates without needing to be sponsored, it's hard to actually trust something when they have to either give you or approve your script or require you to only say positive things about it. Honestly I doubt they will because the views on videos like these are just too low for them to actually try to make content. Not really. Many other games have the exact same system. Systems like these have been around for a long long time. Way before this game even came out

I have watched a couple of reviews for this game now but your video is the best one I have seen. You actually explained how the game plays much better than the others. I plan on picking the game up later today for the first time.

I was tempted to try the game but after seeing you made a video for it Brax I was finally pushed over the edge on it. I remember I played AFK Arena for a hot minute and the character designs were some of the nicest ones I've ever seen (I still go back and look at the art sometimes because it's just that pretty to me). But something bigger than an auto-battler that capitalizes further on that? I'm sold.

I was attracted to this game. Saw Teccy, Brax, Mtashed sponsor the game convinced me to play it. The first thing I notice was it feels familiar, and My guess was right. It feels so familiar because the devs made Dislyte. It made me like the game even more, because I like Dislyte. Genuinely an amazing chill game. Big W to Lilith, although My only wish is please optimize Dislyte for pc.

As a long term AFK Arena player, the QoL in this game alone is miles above Arena, only a few days in but im enjoying it

I like how most genshin/star rail CC and now sponsored by AFK Journey lol

This is what throws me off this game. Its from the Genshin impact universe or something. I think an AAA afk idle game is just where the fun stops IMO. I dont even wanna try this game!

I saw some ads before it released in late march so preordered it and playing it for awhile and I really love it and currently almost done with the dark forest arc

Today I just played afk journey the reason is I heard that a lot of people say that this is a good mobile game and that as song is stuck in my hand

I've been observing the game for a while (that and also i cant escape the ads) i played AFK Arena before I wonder what change combat wise that differentiate AFK Journey from AFK Arena Will it became the same as AFK Arena? -Hypogenes and Celestials being super rare to get -Daimon (if he's in the new game) being ultra broken for f2p players -Shemira being the hero fodder as the game release new heroes -Wilder and Graveborne heroes being the most used heroes Gacha wise i hope there's a pity system now on this game thou in AFK Arena you can easily get pulls as a f2p but there was no pity system only focus system that barely does anything

i would recommend i saw so many ads i tried it and it was damn fun (considering it was like crk but less grindy) overall would recommend great game :)

Been playing the game for 4 days now and it really is pretty fun and refreshing. The only other AFK RPG I've played is MementoMori, but I was severely disappointed by the lack of a main story, so I dropped it in less than a week. This game, however, does have a main story, which I feel very relieved about. The atmosphere also feels cozy and fantastical, which is a perfect fit. It's nowhere near Genshin's level, but hey, I can customise my MC and that's a massive W. Genshin could never.

I’ve recently just started playing the game, and I definitely did not expect the game to already be really good. And I feel like not even my favorite games have a good starter experience. Definitely a lot better than many other gacha games. (The gacha system is not my favorite, just wanted to point out that out)

And here I thought they made a new game based on AFK Arena. It's literally the same game with an overhead open-world that is kind of the opposite for what you want on an idle game. Everything this video explained is on every idle game😮‍💨

Except this game isn't idle at all lol😂(like seriously ). You need to be ACTIVE in order to further progress in the story. You need to be active in order to play several events. You need to be active to play multiplayer moded You need to be active in order to play clan boss events. You need to be active to move character from one place to another just like Genshin and Hsr. You need to be active to play afk levels in order to get higher resources. (i. e there are 100+ afk levels which you need to be active /present to play, and the rewards from which you get while you are online and offline is the ONLY ACTUAL AFK of part of this game.) Ofcourse there is an Auto battle option as well but in order to be able to effectively use it you need to be able to work on the characters for which you need to be active lol. I was also pretty skeptical about this game at first due to it's title as Afk but when I started playing it I realized that you need to be active and only small part of it is actually afk not as a whole lol.

6:39 I know you say this as a positive, but it sounds like a negative to me. That boss fight looks cool and most mobile games are too simple and easy for me to really enjoy, I would prefer something with more meat in its gameplay.

Well, let's hope they do not add the time hero crossover guys again. Because for anyone who does not know of the previous game: AFK Arena. Those character were pretty much just better than all other characters and cost 120$ each (roughly). And that is beside the fact that there were 2 fractions (celestial and Abyssal) that were also pretty much just better than the light, mauler, wildfolk and gravepeople factions. Let's hope that game will still suffice as a cash cow, so that this game can be free of that stupid shenanigans.

I honestly truly believe you're trolling. Or perhaps you forgot that with each new release of a new dimensional or collab units, there were ways to obtain them using resources already IN the game? Dimension coins, labyrinth and arena tokens and the regular diamonds you get every other week mean nothing to ya, I suppose.

This game has very beautifull artstyle and story seems interesting with magic, Merlin and all.

The game looks very good. I don't trust Lilith Games though. They have a horrible reputation with power creep, which has only accelerated in recent time. As an endgame player (of AFK Arena) who recently quit, I want this title to succeed. The nature of gacha games will always be predatory, that cannot be helped. But Lilith Games is not Mihoyo. They don't have a good release philosophy. If you take a break from AFK Arena for 6 months, your account is essentially obsolete in PvP, even if you spent $1,000's or even $10,000's. Sure, it's not the same game, but it's the same developers.

The main problem i have with the game right now is the story quality and its voice acting. People think that Paimon is annoying have never heard Chipper and Hammie. Chipper especially. All of the characters so far have this monotonous attitude. Like they are really bored or don't have much to work with.
