I seen so many bands living out here in los angeles. But afi takes the cake when it comes to live performances. I was blown how good they are. They are truly a rockstar of a band

The Cure vibes are real in this song, and I'm loving it.

AFI never dissapoints. They can change their sound I don't care, as long as music makes them and us happy its all that metter

Im really loving this album. I dont know why so many people on Facebook are hating. I like this album more than Crash Love and almost as much as The Blood Album

I understand the hate, it's an ok album and it's not their best. It's actually one of their weakest albums. Their last album is still better. Dulceria is my favorite song from this album.

Crash love and Very Proud Of Ya are my 2 least favorite albums.... Sing The Sorrow & Black Sails are my 2 favorite. 🔥

Jade straight up looking like that cool college teacher that brings his guitar to class every now and then and let his students play with it.

The only BODIES bummer, is they released 7 of the 11 tracks, few surprises to be had on the full record. Next time, two singles are enough. Don’t spoil it.

Quickly becoming my overall favorite AFI album. Seriously.

This is so good, i miss the old afi, but this song is so good. ❤️

I fucking love you guys. I discovered you when I was 12, back in 06 with "Miss Murder" and Decemberunderground. Afterwards I went back and bought your first 5 albums. (My fav is The Art of Drowning) I've gotten every album since and I'll never stop being a fan no matter what. AFI has managed to evolve its sound over time, and I feel blessed to have grown with it. Now at 27, I can't wait to see what you guys do next.

Aw, as someone who's about 8 years older than you and started listening to them when I was 15/16, and has also gone through the evolution and loves this album, I love this. (I also apologize summarily for the biases of 20 year old me who in my head was like, "who are all these INFANTS TRYING TO GET TO THE FRONT" at shows lol. I didn't get then how cool and special picking up good music early is.)

Yes they have mastered their form,but coming from what they were is hard having to listen to this. Not in a bad way at all, I still love this band, but it shows how old I am,its showing their age too,look at their faces..oh how I miss the early 2000s..

25 Years Later and still and AFI fan! What keeps them so revelant? Their music! Punk Hardcore Post Hardcore Post Punk? You can't label them because they are just that good. Let's good stage dive to a good ole AFI tune that will hit your heart and really mean it because that's how it it. AFI is life! And we. All live it!

Some people complain about how they're not the same they sold out. Its like they're not sell outs they've said we'll never make the same album twice. Dont get upset that they kept their word. :)

One of the masterpieces of Bodies, no, all of the songs are masterpieces, I will say this is one of my favorites, that’s better.

I love this album so much. Still at the top of their craft.

Just listened to the album and I’m just blown away. Look at where they came from and where they are now! It’s like each album just improves on one another immensely.

Are we listening to the same band? Damn. I mean different strokes for different folks. But to me this is by FAR the weakest album they've ever done. To each their own I guess. The material here was just so bland and lifeless. I don't care that they changed their sound, if they wanna do post-punk and 80's or whatever that's fine. Just do it better than this.

I want to see more afi studio insides! Great song; the bridge is very cool. The speed-up. Unexspected. Unique. That's something new. 🖤

This is a super beautiful song. AFI have done a great job paying tribute to their original sounds whilst growing older and keeping a consistent artistic motif. Great production quality on this one. I'm getting some great 80's British punk vibes here.

I wasn't sure about this album at first, but then I listened to its bit more and I love it. I think after this year and a half people are angry at the state of the world and just want a punk album to scream all their frustration out to. So when they get Bodies they're disappointed. I wouldn't mind a harder sound like decemberunderground or even crash love(my personal favorite album I mean come one have you HEARD end transmission?!) but there's this almost chill sort of calmer vibe to this album that I realize I NEED because I'm so stressed about the fact that we're in a flipping pandemic. It's about the state of mind youre in when listening to music, sometimes all you need is just something to help you de stress and calm down and listen to.

My only problem is the lyrics. A lot of them don’t feel as genuine to me and feel sort of generic. I love tied to a tree and the lyrics to this song though. Lol something about this song has the right lyrical flow and any old school Havok lyrics wouldn’t have fit this. With that said, I love the album regardless. Death of the party took about 15 listens to like it enough though

@@Afireinside912 I think Davey said ages ago that he was trying to move toward more direct writing, away from the verbose style he's known for, and I think it comes through in the last few albums. the sense i get is it's a challenge and a struggle and sometimes it connects, but others it's off. and one off moment can throw you quite badly. i think it's worth it though, because when it does connect it's incredibly powerful. my hope is that bodies is what it feels like, which is the opening of a new chapter for AFI, and the next album or two will fulfill all of the promise this record shows
