The victorious Taliban militia justified the hanging of former Afghan president
Najibulla in Kabul on Friday (27/9) by condemning him as a communist
"murderer."
A senior Taliban official said Najibullah was "unanimously" sentenced to
death by religious scholars and the Taliban's central council for "violating"
the rights of Afghan people.
Najibullah was dragged out of the United Nations office where he had
sheltered for the past four and a half years and was hanged on a public street.
The fifty-year old former President had been under UN protection since sweeping
victories by the Mujahadeen in 1992 ended his six-year iron rule under the
patronage of the Soviets.
Najibullah's government collapsed after a civil war led by Mujahedeen groups
who have now been swept aside by the Taliban.
As chief of the notorious" Khad," the former Afghan secret police, Najibullah
was responsible for the killings of many Afghans.
Tens of thousands of people flocked to see his body, and that of his bodyguard,
after they were hanged publicly by the Taliban militia on Friday.

Thanks but Pakistan replace the old east Indian company before the british colony was waging war on us once they left the region, they made sure Pakistan maintained that aggression towards Afghanistan🇦🇫and #DurandLine line made Pakistan paranoid and made sure Afghanistan is in rubble after Russian departure coz I have lost members of my family during soviet invasion and they say the war was fought in villages and rural areas after their departure Pakistan used their proxy Mujahideen then followed Taliban to destroy Afghanistan to rubble.

Taijitu of death No actually he’s right, I’ve spoken with a few Afghan citizens and they said things were actually better under Soviet occupation. Women had a lot more rights could wear western clothes go to school etc. Under our occupation that’s all over with

The question is what did the islamist brought to Afghanistan? Is it better than what Afghanistan had under Najib? With the help of the soviet union we got help in every aspect roads, electricity plants, universities... were built. Women gained freedom and even got highly educated...Of course it wasn't all perfect like no revolution in the world was all perfect but most of you islamist forget that the so called mujahideen also had their chance. After the mujahideen finished their evil work even the rule of the Taliban under whom women can't visit hospitals if there isn't a female doctor but women are also forbidden to study..., where music is forbidden, or lovers are getting stoned.... were seen as a relief.. . .. . .

for pushing for peace? blame the idiots before him. he inherited a mess. One man cannot be blamed for the atrocities of others. don't forget that the mujahadeen fighters and talibs didn't do anything for the people. they turned the cities to dust.
