I have to agree on that. America did committed war crimes and crimes against humanity such as the My Lai massacre, prison torture in Iraq and the No Gun Ri massacre in Korea. However, human rights abuses committed by communist regimes were way more worse and horrifying than the American crimes. Would the world be a better place if the Soviet Union would take over the whole world? It's interesting to know that socialism failed in Venezuela and Cuba but it didn’t failed in Afghanistan because according to the comments from actual Afghani people whose relatives or friends lived through socialist Afghanistan, they say life is better in socialist Afghanistan as women have more rights, the education rate was really high and more economic oppurtunities for people. Back to the whole communism committing crimes against humanity, communist regimes have committed way more worse war crimes and atrocities than the Nazi and the US combined but I'm not saying anything to defend the Nazi because one such example is the Soviet crimes when they pushed onwrads to Berlin. On their advance through Poland and, according to an actual Polish guy, the Nazis took the paintings but the Soviets looted everything on their way to Berlin as they looted watches, food, furnitures and everything and I would not left out Katyn when the Soviet NKVD, under the orders from Stalin, took the Polish officers and intellectuals to Katyn forest where they would be shot and buried in mass graves. China, as of right now, began to commit genocide on the Uyghurs and the damn fucking useless UN turned a goddamn blind eye on this crime. So yes, in conclusion, communist regimes committed way more worse crimes than the US and I do not want to left out the Hue massacre committed by the NVA and Viet-Cong to eliminate any suspected political dissents such as ARVN soldiers, American civilians and etc. The South Vietnamese refugees who escaped to America did debunked the leftist myth that the American soldiers died for nothing but in reality, they died for freedom. Don't listen what the communist say but watch what they do.

If it stayed communist it’d most likely end up like the post communist African countries, under dictatorships and possibly left even worse by communism. Currently Afghanistan is getting better, once ISIS finally dies focus will shift back and if the terrorists groups there don’t die out soon people will eventually kill them and Afghanistan will be peaceful again.

I never knew Afghanistan looked like this, im not saying communism is somehow awesome, but Afghany people could be united, and focus only on industry, that is what communism does, take controll over all country industry... which could really make Afghanistan much more developed than it is now, also it eliminates poverty, all profit what country makes is shared to workers, so everyone would have relativly good housing and food... main idea is, that whatever negatives communism has, for countries like afghanistan it could be way to progress and build decent state with national welth

Westernization before first and second industrial revolution were not look like today, today's west society were completely modern and secular society, people do not let the religon power control and dominate people's life, fund, money, and the education system. Afaganistan and othet middle east should get rid of the feudal and religious superior power and the ugly and bloody Saudi arabia royals. how? by industrial and socialism revolution and spread the secularism to rest of the world. Then, more people adapt into the modernization society, people will know what's equality, why progressive and socialism revolution is important. PDPA came to power in a bloody coup. Soon after the PDPA president would be assassinated in a coup too by the guy standing behind him in the video (Amin). The PDPA was extremely brutal, which naturally led to the rise of freedom fighters. The PDPA was so brtual the Soviets invaded to assassinate and replace Amin. Some of those freedom fighters were then trained/funded in Pakistan with some financial assistance from other countries including the US to push out the USSR. The USSR left in 1989. US stopped funding then too. But PDPA wouldn't fall until 1992. Some of the freedom fighters would go on to join the Taliban in 1994.

Communism involves a stateless, classless, moneyless society with the means of production held in common, a lack of commodity production which refers to producing things to be sold, a gift economy, "from each according to his ability, to each according to his need" as Marx had worded it, the "withering away of state" as Engels had worded, to achieve a "Communist-Society" as Marx had called it. The nations which you most likely refer to as "Communist" are/were only Socialist and thus merely in the transitory stage between Capitalism and Communism. Socialism has done many good things improved literacy, education, healthcare, rights for minorities, rights for women, standards of living, qualities of life, caloric intake, lifespan, etc. They have also turned feudal backwaters into economic superpowers such as in the Soviet Union's case. According to a study called "Capitalism, Socialism and the Physical Quality of Life" by H. Waitzkin and S. Cereseto PhD published by the World Bank, given equal levels of economic development, Socialist nations had higher standards of living than Capitalist nations, also according to that same study, given equal levels of economic development, Socialist nations had higher levels of caloric intake than Capitalist ones, meaning contrary to popular belief, people in Socialist nations actually ate more food. That study can be found on various .gov and .org sites and has PDFs for you to download, if you want to read it. All of this information can be found from various other sources as well, physical and digital. Socialism had also turns nations into military superpowers such as in the Soviet Union's case. Planned economies are actually proven to be more efficient than markets such as in the case of Project CyberSyn where they used a computer planned economy, this was decades ago in Chile, think about what modern computers with modern computing capabilities could do! The reason for some Socialist nations having bad economies is NOT a fault of Socialism, it is often caused by economic embargoes, sanctions and other methods of destabilizing their economies caused by the United States, or the loss of some of the nations' biggest trade partners such as the DPRK(North Korea)'s economy ranking after the dissolution of the Soviet Union.

Actually, Afghanistan was a prosperous country when it was under the monarchy until 1973, Things started to unravel after the communist takeover in 1973. Religious tensions began to simmer slowly(Afghanistan was an always religious society but radical elements were cut to size ) and further radicalisation was carried out by Capitalist USA with their middle eastern friends

Well they got a country like this, the communists did not put any affords to build the country, it was already build by the kingdom of Afghanistan. What they really did was creating social disasters which resulted the present situation. They power hungry men killing and throwing each other for power, they had very weak leadership, they couldn't even survive for 3 years, they are not the one to be credited for the achievements of the Kingdom. Why don't you ask them what is their role in today's Afghanistan under than hiding in the western countries and seeking asylum? They should come and answer the People of Afghanistan for what they did To hell with Hafizulamin and his followers They destroyed our liberal country to what we have now as mafia and terrorist state. They burried alive innocent civilians labelling them as isrealli and american agents.
