I'm from EL SALVADOR and I love AFGHANI palao special the one from Kabul but this one looks yummy too 😋😋

We Afghans make qabeli palao a bit differently we fry onions until it's brown and then add the meat and pressure cook it and then we add the gravy on top of the rice because all the color and flavor comes from the onions . But this is also a good way .

Dry fruits name Mewa میوہ in Urdu. Badam is also a Mewa ( Dry Fruit) . It is raisin in English. Kishmish in urdu. Originally It is dried Grape.

Kabuli option and Bactrian or Mazari option Each cooked differently, ingredients wise and in the style of cooking.... Even the dishes used, are totally of different shapes ....
