I was seriously going feral listening to Mia go on and on about how much she loved Hermonie’s dress. Finally Editing Mia saved me and said what I was thinking about the huge color difference lol we stan Editing Mia

I really want Mia to buy a steamer (if she doesn't have one already) and try to get out the wrinkles when she reviews certain outfits because I feel like we don't see the full potential of a look when it's still full of wrinkles. It would also be valuable to know whether a piece can even be steamed or ironed, some fabrics are super stubborn (esp when they're crap quality) and don't let go of wrinkles which is always super frustrating.

LOL....I had the same thought! But then again...Mia is 100% real! She stuffs tissue up her nose and carries on as if it's no big deal! I enjoy everything she does! It's absolute entertainment any way you look at it!

I feel like the yellow dress has so much potential! It would be an easy DIY to bring the waistline up, especially since it looks like there’s extra length to the dress at the bottom. You can even hem it and use fabric from the bottom for a new belt to cover up the one that doesn’t match

Yeah, they need the bullet bra and shapewear, for sure. I know the bullet bra looks weird to our modern eyes, but it's an important part of making the silhouette look right.

My jaw dropped when you said you haven’t seen How To Lose A Guy in Ten Days. It is one of the best romcoms ever to exist (in my opinion don’t come for me lol). It’s one of those movies where I rewatch over and over and it never gets old.

I think the dresses for 50 Shades Darker and Audrey Hepburn dresses look the most similar to the inspirations. The Kate Hudson and Hermione dresses were next. Hermionie’s dress was the wrong color and it needed more ruffles for that true ombré look. Marilyn’s dress had a good base, the bow and gloves could use some changes. The High School Musical dress was tragic and way overpriced. Such a fun video! Would love to see more! 💜

I don't know how it looked in real life but in the video, the Marilyn gloves look closer to the color of the original dress than the dress.

As a HUGE movie buff, I HAD to click this video right away haha :p So the pink Marilyn Monroe dress, it is actually from the movie Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (which I enjoyed and found funny), and in one iconic scene she sings a *song* called "Diamonds are a Girl's Best Friend" while wearing that pink dress.

I wishhhh you would iron or steam these clothing pieces to let them look their best. They immediately look so much cheaper when they're wrinkled out of the package. :(

HopeScope also tried on dresses from this website and something I've noticed is that the color match isn't great. Some are worse than others, but even the good ones(like the 50 shades darker) aren't quite it. I will say that the Kate Hudson dress, aside from the belt piece, was SPOT ON. Out of all the dresses, it was the best match.

I've seen the Breakfast at Tiffany's Givenchy dress in person when it was being auctioned at Christie's years ago. They got the cut right, but it wasn't that shiny. It was a matte fabric. It was also impossibly tiny. Like the smallest 00 I've ever seen. Still really beautiful though.

good fabric is very very expensive. There was a retailer in my town who gave fabric to Elie Saab. It was 180 euro each meter (10 years ago!!). You need around 5-7 meter plus for a long dress. I think for 150dollars, you can get only very bad fabric ahah

Was it kind of velvety ? The photo always made me think it had a velvet texture to it because it's swallowing up the light completely.

PS; Second place for me is the yellow dress. Against all expectations. I think the material made this dress so good. It just flowed beautifully and I can imagine any bodytype be feeling gorgeous in a dress made out of this.

I could be totally wrong here, but I think Mia will be donating these dresses sooner or later. Since Mia‘s quite dainty, custom made dresses would be harder to donate and fit a person in need. I tried to donate clothes to a homeless shelter and they turned me away since they need bigger size clothes. Mind you I’m a medium.

I would love to see you take the pieces of the dress apart to make your own patterns and try to recreate the dress to meet your standards!

I am dating myself, or course- Vogue Pattern had this MM Monroe pattern in 1983-84. So many times I almost bought this pattern, thought it too expensive for $10- that year I married, and had very little opportunity to wear such a beautiful gown. I had a fried who did make this gown to a tea! Beautiful! She had it on display on a mannequin- it truly was a work of art. The pattern included the pattern for the gloves. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

A fun video would be making clothes that you "ordered" and have your mom try them on now that your sewing skills have improved so much!
