Caramel Oud is lovely, it smells like Lattafa Ishq al shuyukh gold with extra caramel topping.

Same!! I love it!! It’s addictive and the price is awesome. ( I haven’t smelled the original YET, I did just order a 6.7oz bottle of the original yesterday so can’t wait to receive it ) I’m finding myself testing out dupes first and if I’m obsessed then I get the original 😅.

Hi Marie! Caramel Oud is THE winter scent. So well balanced. Not too sweet, not too oud-y. This is the first oud fragrance I've been able to wear. 😊

Happy New Year Maria. My favorite frags which I cannot stop wearing now are Lattafa Musamam white intense, Lattafa Khamrah, Elie Saab girl of now, Lancome La Nuit tresor and Jimmi Choo I want choo for ever:)

I can’t get over the prices on some of these fragrances! I have blind bought most of the Middle Eastern frags that I have (after watching reviews), and have enjoyed 99% of them. My newest love is Private Oud fragrance oil by Swiss Arabian. 😍😍😍.

Its good but Barakkat Satin Oud is better. It also performs better.

Hello Maria, Happy New Year to you and your family. So I have Rifaaqat from Paris Corner, a dube for Babycat, and Aud da Audacity from Penhaligon. I have not smelled Babycat, so I can't compare, but I have sampled ADA from Penhaligon and can attest to the similarities. I will be adding ADA in 2024. All the best!

Oh that’s good to know. We have shooed that carry it for $75 Canadian here but if I were to buy it and ship it from TK it would cost way more I think. I appreciate you weighing in…I need to remember to qualify it!!

i just got a decant of barakkat gentle gold and to me, it smelled like rose water, vanilla and a hint of spices. i’m not really a fan of rose scents but the type of rose i got from this was really pretty. i got my sister to smell it and she said it smelled like rose turkish delight which i totally agree with. it doesn’t really project much but i find how close it sits to my skin quite nice actually. it’s definitely a scent i could wear everyday

My 2 recent arabic discoveries are : MAZAJI (ELLIE SAAB ROYALE ! dupe, beautiful bottle and performance ) and Exclusif Saffron (WOW! WOW! WOW! ) described as ''HIGH CLASS'', ''DELICIOSO'' etc. on me and my friend it slightly turns into the nicest, posh inscence like in cult Black Cashmeere by Donna Karan :)

I love Oud Mood I think it is lattafa. It is a beginner oud and so smooth plus soooo cheap! I think I paid $20 on USA Amazon.

How close is Gentle Gold to MFK GFG? I found MFK GFG very underwhelming even though I love the idea of those notes.

I haven’t seen either of those as dupes but you may want to check DUA or Oakcha. There is also Oil Perfumery…I know they have oils of likely each of the !

I’m so sad to hear this! I never noticed that from the first spray on. That said, put it away for a couple of weeks to a month and revisit? It’s possible that it’s just not for you.

How similar would you say the Barakkat is to GFG? GFG is hard to find in person where I live, and I'd hate to plunk down that kind of cash on a blind buy, but I can handle the cost of the Barakkat lol.

apparently GFG is like a feminine, sweeter version of GRAND SOIR by MFK :) I had an inspired sample , totally feminine, and recently acquired a different one that leans more masculine , like a vintage-y masculine cologne and I didn't like it, gave it away. It shows we need to be careful with dupes....
