I think, most importantly, Joe ends off what's been his best year since his peak TNA/Impact days with what will likely be his last world championship. He deserves it. He's been incredible all year.

Idk if I’m in a minority here, but I think there’s not even a 10% chance Joe actually wins here. MJF and reigns both have that effect (purely in this instance and context) that it’s just unbelievable that anyone will beat them. More than happy to be wrong, and also I’ll have a blast regardless because good god can these guys wrestle !

I’ve never gotten to see Adam (or Edge) wrestle in person. Same with Keith Lee. I’m going to Worlds end. I’m so excited

So happy for you! Was lucky enough to win a radio contest for 2020 Rumble tickets and that Edge pop was amazing! Also would have loved to have seen Keith Lee vs Brock Lesnar after that first encounter there, but WWE said nah.

I already know where this E&C thing is going. Adam wins tomorrow, Jack Perry returns they go into the rubber match and Christians group turns on him Goin back to Adam's comment about the group when he first showed up. "They'll learn everything they can from you and cast you out when they're done"

I feel Joe is partly getting this for how he showed his leadership with the Punk situation. Professional and the epitome of who you would like as a leader of the company

With all that drama and issues, on the verge of the match or card falling apart, Joe ready saved it, and really showed out in the match. He was so so good in that match, and should've won against Punk

Mjf will pull a supercena and somehow everyone will defend it like anything. MJF after beating Jay White on one leg is not losing to Joe in 2023 let's be honest.

So combining with Luke and his idea. What if Adam Copland beats Christian. Beth comes in to even out shenanigans. But the winner of the 20 man is a member of the house of black. Adam is giving his speech and how this is over now. They jump him, take the belt and Julia attacks Beth. They then join FTR full even numbers, Julia who is great could learn a lot from Beth and it makes sense story wise

Also, being that I am from Long Island, Long Island is a part of New York. Both Brooklyn and Queens are ON the physical Long Island.

I think the bigger story would be the Devil taking the title off of Max. Joe is only there to weaken him with the promise of having the first title shot or something to that extent. Maybe they do a big show sometime in January where the change happens.

I don't know when it was filmed but judging from Da Party Uno it sounds like Adam Cole is still in a cast and on crutches, said he couldn't drive at the moment.

Ok but after the O,H,C this year drop the really sad click and story Now for Lethal after touching base/ reality check " let's have a real match ". Both are A list talent 1 learning to be a singles wrestler 1 always used as a joke(really sad what a talent) even in TNT ! After the respect match in the Hart challenge for Jay Lethal they both deserve better. NO more wasting top talent. Just look at Eric Young Massive talent Never yours'd to it's Max (obvs different company's) but . Please right better scrips or let them get on with the job . Also If Mr Briscoe never tag's again much Resect but what a loss.@@louquay

Still think we get Cole as the devil, with the lesson being MJF never really found 'other friends'. Cole reveals his friends to be way more than anticipated, and shares the promises he made to them. The Kingdom (history - now ROH tag champs), Wardlow (common goal - the destruction of MJF), Roddy/Kyle/Fish (UE - future Trios champs), Jack Perry (one of Cole's first matches in AEW/common goal - MJF revenge), Samoa Joe (now AEW champion as promised), and maybe a few others (free agent Nic Nemeth & brother Ryan)? You could replace the Nemeths with The Righteous (with the promise of AEW tag championships) who seem to fit and DID foreshadow Cole as a liar. It's a next generation New World Order, revealed @ World's End. MJF is dejected (injured by Wardlow as was the deal), and this group run roughshod the entire year, with Cole as the mastermind ready to wrestle when he's 100% healthy. You can keep the plate spinning on MJF's signing status as he loses his confidence (and his mind) in the process!

What if it’s called “World’s End” because life as we know it will end as we enter Wardlow’s World. I’m sure Luke will LOVE that!

I think if AEW set up Keith Lee vs Swerve Strickland as an emergency feud, then it would make a lot of sense. Keith could have come back from being taken out by Swerve and said that he wants to forgive Swerve, and let him continue to be successful. It's very Keith Lee, and he wants the best for his former friend despite what he did. So then once Swerve and the Moguls start getting involved with Lee's business again, then he can switch and say he's coming after him, just like they did. This would have at least set the stage for a potential blow off match. I think it would be cool if Joe won. He's not someone who we think would be champion, and he doesn't really need to be champion past Double or Nothing. It would be a nice change even though MJF is great, and it would actually move things forward and we can reveal who the Devil is and find out why this is all happening. I also don't think MJF cares about losing again, because it's what's best for the story. MJF overcoming Joe, the Devil, and the goons would just be a bit too much. The Nexus died because they couldn't beat John Cena, let the Devil win here.

I do not, in any way, like the "timeless" gimmick for Toni Storm. It cannot end soon enough for me.

I assumed that Sting and Darby's insertion was to build to giving Sting one last title run with the tag belts - they are undefeated after all? Only for a month, where Darby takes the pin. Then at Revolution, it's Sting vs Darby, and Darby goes over.

Predictable pick is Cole. More left field is Wardlow or Swerve. I think MJF will probably retain but drop it to whoever is revealed as the Devil.

Ok BUT, if Copeland had Gangrel hidden backstage for when the fight went back there it would be hilarious and great lol them coming out together would also be cool but if we can wait to do the Brood entrance until all 3 can do it I say wait lol

While it doesn't entirely work, one suggestion that I've heard floated is that it's Alexander Hammerstone. I doubt it (was he available to tape the bits that TK says was him? Did they have a deal with MLW for him to appear? The Devil's not THAT big?) and I think we'd have a "who?" from a good chunk of the audience, but for past coming back to haunt him it would be great, and Hammerstone's available now. We'd just have to spend some time explaining why.

Except it makes logically no sense. The Devil's Men laid out MJF and took the tag titles and then it was revealed Joe had been working with the Devil the whole time. So we'd have to believe that not only did MJF fool Joe into thinking he was working with the Devil but that MJF also set up up his own beating on Dynamite. Little far-fetched. Interesting idea but if that happens I'll just roll my eyes hard.

Personally, I would love it if Joe wins the Title….I havent been too much of a fan of a Face MJF , I dont hate his current run but it just feels like it lost the magic for me slightly….And Joe is a perfect heel when he is on top of a brand….

Spoilers: Ok, I was already kind of with Pete in predicting Joe to win. BUT, then Luke made the point about wanting the devil on top if this is the reveal. That got me thinking... what IS the reveal? The answer I came to was this: MJF is about to beat Joe. The lights go out and the Devil is at ringside. The devil unmasks to reveal Adam Cole. It seems like the obvious answer, but that would be enough to shake Max to his core and give Joe the opening to win. That even ties back to Adam being the one to push MJF to take Joe's offer a month ago, and Cole telling Roddy that Joe was his friend.

Imagine Joe wins, and MJF "resigns" to finish the fight next year

AEW has surprised me many times but i have never been less excited for an AEW ppv, idk if the devil will pay off well, i dont want Joe as champ, the big multiman matches are skippable but the women matches should be fun if given time & Mox vs Eddie will def be great

Agree with Pete, Joe surely wins here? MJF beat Jay on one leg, including interference....which was a bit ropey, but there is no way that he wins vs Joe and the Devil after all these months? Plus I think from a company standpoint, Tony will enjoy putting the belt on Joe, as he knows that lots of fans felt that Joe should have been WWE champ either vs Brock or AJ Styles, but they never pulled the trigger.

Obviously the World's End Battle Royale winner gets a Cornetto.

Hopefully, they're warming up Keith Lee for a run of his own. My fantasy booking for Lee was back when CM Punk first got hurt. The battle royal for the chance to face Moxley for the belt. Instead of Swerve backstabbing Lee. Lee wins the battle Roy instead of Kyle O'Reilly. Keith Lee wins. Moxley gets his vacation he was promised. Then you take the belt off of Lee later on.

Brooklyn and Queens is basically one thing with an artificial North/South border between them. But both of them have an artificial border to their east because they are actually the western most coastal tip of the gigantically huge Long Island. So to simplify that anyone from Queens or Brooklyn are from what Long Islanders consider to be the western most part of the island. Kind of a Drew in Wales thing. Like sure okay you're not in Scotland but l can see your house from here.

Personally I would of liked to see swerve win this tournament. Though I am looking forward to the MJF Joe match. I just don’t care for Eddie Kingston or Moxley so the final of this tournament is just not interesting for me. To each their own though, I’m sure the two of them will put on a match that everyone will say is good so my opinion doesn’t really matter much lol.

I think the reveal of the Devil could still work if MJF retains. If the Devil is Cole he could play hero and help MJF retain. There is a big feel good moment and then all the sudden Cole turns on MJF with his goons for the horrific beatdown setting up Cole vs MJF for the title.

If these was 6 or 7 years ago, my bet for "The Devil" would be Marty Scrurll, he was hot has a heel on NJPW back in those days, and would make sense for him to debut, in those terms, but people even celebrities are not "perfect" and sh*t happens, and now we're not gonna see him anymore 🤷‍♂️ but for me he would the perfect guy for being "The Devil" .

I’m not going to lie, this is probably AEW’s least anticipated PPV of this year, if not of all time. Most of this card is predictable or inconsequential. It doesn’t feel like a PPV caliber card.
