AEW has done great things and a couple questionable ones, but one of the few things i’m genuinely grateful for in all of pro wrestling is Samoa Joe finally getting his flowers and being the MAN, he’s one of the best to ever do it period.

You have Swerve have Hangman dead to rights beaten in the center of the ring, then Joe comes in at the last second, blasts Swerve, then pins Hangman to retain.

I could see this being a triple threat where Swerve wins by pinning Hangman and gives Joe a reason to keep feuding with Swerve because he was never pinned to lose his title.

This is the best version of hangman. I was never a fan of him before this switch up

Joe finally has become what he was meant to be a world champion

Joe will be a solid champ and give the belt prestige til they are ready to put the belt on Swerve, and then later Max can come back and feud with Joe before going after Cole and his crew. Strickland has been on fire this year and the crowd is popping for him more an more each week

I’m rewinding that Joe part 😂 Joe is a great guy for AEW WORLD CHAMP. I really hope he retains. And in dominant fashion too.

If this match is half as good as his match with Daniels and Styles, it's gonna be a hell of a match. Joe has had many good triple threats

Honestly, I think a heel Hangman could have a really good arc, almost as good as when he won the title the first time. You have that anxiety and those demons come back, but instead of making him this reclusive drunk, they make him into this insecure monster, who just can't cope with the fact that he had that moment on top, and lost it, and is willing to do whatever it takes to get back to it again, and it brings out the absolute worst in him. It would be cool because it's like Swerves character brought him to that dark place, and now he keeps sinking into the depths
