I like that there are numerous ways to defend besides reversals, makes it feel like a fighting game. You can evade, block, and reverse there's even a dodge roll.

I just want to give a little tip to anyone who has trouble kicking out of one finisher as you are getting a finisher done to you immediately start mashing the buttons and you’ll have a better chance of kicking out

You actually can customize your controls. I made my controls like SYM & HCTP. And now I'm already an expert at playing 😂👍👍

The ending part i found the video really informative but the last part wasnt so clear how do u reverse the 2nd part if the miss the 1 time do you click the strick button again or guess the hit button they'll use

When do you time the grapples? Im asking what am i looking for. With a strike it is right before impact. Grapple idk what im looking for.

​@RisingPhoenix619 Brother, I just started, and it's literally broken. This is a year old game, and it's this bad. Imagine paying full price for this. No tutorial other than slide at the start.No idea when and how to counter grapple 4 days in.

Loving the game so far man! The gameplay has levels of depth and training is rewarded. Road to Elite is also very replayable with multiple outcomes and challenges.

It’s not confusing bro it’s glitchy and clunky and it makes no sense it works wen it’s wants to it’s not I’m not say anyone bad at the game but they have to fix reversers that game is good the only problem is reversers once u get caught in a combo or someone just keep grabbing u can reverse finish or the move before the reverse widow is to small for fair game play I enjoy the game it’s just I can’t reverse finish or sigs like that make me upset because I love playing advance defense on every wrestling game 🤦🏾‍♂️😔

The reversals work very well, you just gotta practice my brotha. The timing window is tight, so it helps to go into training mode.

On the wwe games they are moves that easy to reverse with Y or triangle but then there’s the whole entire moves in the game where they are irreversible and people can just keep spamming it even the dlc finishers are too

Double tap the reverse button right before they do the move and right as they do it. I think this should help

I had my controls setup like Day of Reckoning. The timing counters is not so great but I'm getting used to it a little. I assume finishers reversal would be both buttons?

I think the game needs a more robust training mode. I'm a very good gamer. I almost never lose. I excel in simulation and arcade games. In FF on Elite difficulty I can kill the AI in 3 to 5 minutes. Yesterday I played a friend who doesn't even have the game, and I couldn't reverse ANYTHING and they reversed everything. It made no sense. In FF The timing is inconsistent between different moves, the hand drawn animations don't have a realistic pace to most movements. It is luck, spamming the button or learning the patterns when fighting AI. But for human opponents, especially ones that don't know what they're doing which makes things even more random, you can't predict anything. Adding a windowed option to the training would help a lot in getting SOME of the timing down. You'd still be relying on luck, character skill and other metrics. But at least you'd eliminate the variable of not having a feel for how jerky and instant some things can be. I still won the match by the way. I shouldn't have. They gave me a solid beating for what felt like ages. Multiple signatures and finishers. They never tried to pin me though. I got in 1 good Signature and pinned immediately. Hence me on the internet trying to figure out why the hell the reversals were so impossible. When fighting AI I never really need to. I can be very overwhelming. But damnit I couldn't get any offense in last night

Easy counter on means you use the buttons A X Y to counter. If you think they are going to hit you with a high strike you hit X, if you think it's a low strike you hit y, if you think it's going to be a grapple you hit A. That's Xbox, if it's Playstation just plug in the corresponding button

​@FittestGamers, It also works. If you mash the button, it can trigger the same counter, but at least the strikes. You'll find it in the same place you do the kick-outs.

My problem is y cant i keep my stats i grinded in road to elite on my created character its basically no point in using a created wrestler
