Moxs character is amazing n im loving how stiff his matches are now and Cody tells a better story in the ring than anybody in the world right now that i can think of. Eddie was amazing but imo he was never the best at anything(just really fuckin good at everything lol).

It really is the perfect spot for him on the card. He doesn't have the charisma to be a world champ(even though WWE tried anyway) but as the muscle for a main eventer hes perfect. It puts him in the upper mid card with guys like MJF(for now), Hangman and possibly Darby Allin, which is exactly where he should be. Right now AEW has 5 or 6 main event talents(Jericho, Omega, Cody, Mox and PAC n i feel like im forgetting somebody) n right now thats all they really need to be legit contenders for the world title with some of the other guys maybe working their way up to that point.

In a single promo, Jericho managed to put over young talent, pays tribute to Eddie Guerrero, and tears WWE creative a new one.

I remember reading in his book how he had thought about Rob Terry in the role that Garrison Cade had during the feud with Shawn Michaels because Terry looked like him only much larger but they went with Cade to his ties to being trained by Shawn. Don’t remember him mentioning Swagger in there but I could be wrong.

Jericho is really a genius. He shuts down the crowd as soon as he gets a face response. He establishes himself and his faction. He pays respect to Eddie. He "saves" Jake Hager's build up. He shoots on WWE. A little bit of the bubbly. AEW wins, the talent wins, the crowd wins, nobody loses. And all that in less than 5 minutes.

God damn it AEW take my money. Take it all. This is amazing.

The main difference is that those WWF guys were all best buds. And as great as Jericho is during the promo, you can still tell this is a stable put together to push a storyline, and that these guys don't have the same hyped-up charismatic chemistry and mic-time as DX, or the laid-back funny vibe oh The Outsiders & Hogan. I love AEW and what they are doing for wrestling, but they are still in need of another 1 or 2 big name /established stars. But I think they ARE on their way to creating NEW stars with MJF, Private Party, Sammy G, and Orange Cassidy. So it could balance out.
