Brock vs Cena Extreme Rules is my favourite Cena match. So fucking good. One of the only times I felt Cena was in legitimate danger.

Is it just me, or did Phenix look way more jacked than he used to when he came out on Dynamite??

Satnam Singh Main Eventing AEW Dynamite is something that is unlikely to ever happen again. Bryan Danielson is lucky to not have a herniated disc in his back from carrying him in that match.

Wai, can you get John a Shure SM7b as well? You sound much better than he does.

We had one. We encountered issues with hiss/hum using analog and I'm unfortunately not around enough to troubleshoot, so digital/USB is just a lot easier. From comparisons I've seen, there's not a big noticeable difference between the mics, especially when you're just talking about speech and loads of compression that already takes place through these systems. Maybe it's a setting we can adjust. What in particular stands out to you about the quality?

@@POSTWrestling - volume, at least at the beginning of the video. I made that comment towards the beginning and John was much quieter, but by the end, that seemed to have flipped to that Wai was a bit too quiet but John was okay, so... I guess it's more a normalization of volume? I have an SM7b I use for all my recording and I put it through an Audient Evo 4 interface with a Triton FetHead inline amp between them, and that Evo 4 then uses a USB-c cable to connect to my main machine and that works really well, if that's at all helpful. The Evo 4 has an auto-level setting mode that really helps make things nice and clear. Mind you, that's a total investment of about $600 between all of that, but it DOES work nicely. If you want to skip the FetHead inline amp, get a Shure SM7db which has a built in amp.

Volume is more of an issue with our streaming software, Streamyard. It lacks live metering so we rely on its auto-adjustment which can be unpredictable. Thanks for sharing your setup. If I would start over I’d probably just get the SM7db with MVX2U as the DI.

Was there live. Hard cam sidecar to be filled in before the start. Also during rampage a fan got tossed for dumping popcorn on Jericho and Mercedes and willow had a pull apart to end the taping.

Pouring popcorn on a heel sounds like old school heat, fans enjoying themselves, and “just enjoy wrestling” behavior.

Swerve reminds me of when CM Punk was champion and yet Cena and everyone else was getting the mainevent instead of him. Feel sorry for Swerve.

History has shown that the AEW World Heavyweight Title Match isn't the main program that Double or Nothing is built around. The only time Double or Nothing has been Main Evented by an AEW World Heavyweight Title Match was in 2022 and that match was overshadowed by the Anarchy In The Arena Match that featured the Main Feud in the Promotion with Jericho Appreciation Society against Eddie Kingston and Blackpool Combat Club.

I don't really know how to address this without sounding condescending but I'll have a go anyways... How can Fenix go about clearing this image that's now been created of him being fragile? You both made reference to him returning & then disappearing with the insinuation he was injured - using the House of Glory show as your evidence. House of Glory false advertised Fenix. He was not injured in his return match, he was sitting out (same as Penta who hasn't worked AEW in a month) as they went through the various weeks of this angle with PAC/Jay White. Clearly nobody is taking my word even though it's accurate which is fine, whatever. But did you guys inquire with AEW who confirmed he was injured? Did you check with House of Glory to confirm the specific injury or ask for any evidence like a plane ticket (there wasn't one purchased) or ask why a supposed injured wrestler couldn't even attend the meet & greet? Fenix now has this fragile rep that he'll never be able to shake because the next time he actually gets hurt it will turn into a non-existent pattern just because one promotion false advertised him & everyone just "reported" something false which was easier than doing any due dilligence. Sucks to be Fenix. BTW The women's tag match also got a 'this is awesome' chant. I think it's mandatory for every TV match over 5 minutes these days. But Harley Cameron has performed better in 3 matches than many AEW women who are loud on twitter & have been polutting TV for months on end.

I didn't even know this was any sort of debate and was just going by what Penta announced as the reason for his brother's absence at the HOG show. Thanks for sharing your side. -W

Even if that is the case, Fenix has been out several times during these 5 years in AEW due to injuries. So it was a pretty easy and fair assumption for people to accept...

Swerve is such a boring, one dimensional character. He is lack of the champion aura and they should put the belt to the real star like Osprey or even Hangman if he come back.

@@coreymb90 It's not a bad take, it's his take. People react differently to different things, prefer different things, have different preferences. People are neurologically diverse and simply like different things. Entertainment is subjective. What you like isn't the objective truth about what is entertaining.
