The one thing about stray kids at the met was that it actually was hard to find an ot8 picture after they took off the coats because they were so staggered usually one of them was blocked or you could just see their head barely behind someone’s shoulder. It’s just unprecedented to have a whole group attend the met together let alone 8 members and the carpet setup just isn’t ideal for that situation, I think they were doing their best but maybe standing closer to the straight line they were in with the coats on would have helped. The first pic I saw on some site I was honestly scared one of them couldn’t make it for a sec when I only counted 7 but it’s just because one was fully hidden in that pic 😢

Here’s my song recomendation for you: "Shine With Me" by IVE. It’s a B-side from their I’ve IVE album and it’s very magical and emotionally sounding song. The vocals are amazing as well as the structure of the song. (plus Wonyoung is credited as a songwriter)

Sad how hybe groups are bombarded by issues left and right. Especially that most of the heavily affected are young groups. I hope everything will be settled soon. Looking at newjeans' teaser photos, i really see them as the laid back cool kids compared to illit which looks more like anime girlies. I remember someone saying that they can't imagine newjeans wearing illit's outfits, which i agree with. The big similarities was only the y2k vibe and the school uniform era. This should've been handled in private. Tbh, it's not like this is new in kpop. Kpop is just about making and following trends or recreating and adding twists to previous trends. When blackpink did girl crush, almost all girlgroups did it too. When bts talked about loving one's self, everyone also did a song about it. Now that y2k is in, everyone is also doing it. A friend of mine even told me that newjeans did not start the trend because twice did it before them. Really tho, when i first started litening to kpop, they all sound the same to me. So i hope the issue should've been handled better.

SM always had a sister brother group concept: snsd - super junior, shinee - f(x), red velvet - exo, ….

I happened to watch the Met Gala red carpet since I like clothes. I'm not surprised by anything they might have said, since American paparazzi have a generally scummy reputation. However the videos I've actually seen seem pretty typical/not particularly bad. My question is, did anyone listen to what they had to say about anyone else? They were probably screaming nonsense the whole time. I think the whole thing was a little blown out of proportion, and I've read that they said a lot of things that I've seen no video evidence for so maybe there's some mis-hearing going on, a lot of mis-hearsay you might say. I doubt the members really heard anything, so it seemed a little strange (though not unexpected of course) that fans blew it up and made it a huge deal. And people thinking Bang Chan's bubble post was sarcastic is just another instance of fans taking the two things they know about and drawing a line between them. You know that was just them walking up to the event right? They had a whole dinner and show and museum tour where they mingled with celebrities and it was probably lots of fun so he very well could have been sincere. Fans have just made this cool event for them all about some losers outside the doors.

Paparazzi are usually bad but they were just being plain ignorant, disrespectful and racist to straykids. I don't know which videos you've seen but they were saying things like "how do you say 'right' in korean", "I'm going to get covid", saying 'arigato' to them which isn't even korean, and yelling random korean words at them, along with just flat out laughing at them. They were 100% microaggressions and those paparazzi would not be saying those things if it was chris hemsworth out there.

first of all just wanted to say great vid as always!! second, since you asked for song recs, I'm so taking this chance to promote dreamcatcher cuz small company if you like rock, edm, rock and edm (?) or something along the lines, def check them out i'd say like, pure rock, try scream?, edm house party vibes, try silent night, ballad + rock try deja vu (the iconic now I'm holding this pain), mix of all try boca (another iconic one, dami's hold up I'm a geek the big paradox) they are so slept on honestly and pioneers of groups with a consistent rock genre. many of their songs stand for really important messages instead of just love and heartbreak (think like, environment issues - maison, verbal hate - boca, etc), and they're strong supporters of the lgbt community (not the mention the fact that they themselves act p gay too lmao) sucks that they're from a small company and don't have much domestic influence, but internationally, they're quite famous and have done things no other kpop groups have done before, or were the first to do so, so ye, def check them out if they're interested

To be honest I highly doubt stray kids could hear the photographers over the noise of the event. Although it is never acceptable for one to be rude to another, and I'm sure the boys found it distressing when watching the clips themselves, the comments were extremely tame by American paparazzi standards. The criticism tastes extremely hypocritical when comparing those comments to those that fandoms make. Clownery do be afoot.

Her eyes look different to me, I think her eyes before were a big part of her look. But she had probably done her eyes before, some people say she had visible scars on her eyelids in some photos. So this might have been the second time. If you look at older photos you can see she had pretty heavy monolids (which I think is beautiful). And now she has a very high eyelid crease/double eyelids (whis is seen as more beautiful by many in Korea) That was the big change I noticed in the paparazzi photos from the events.

I love your channel so much, Angelina! Which country are you from tho? Because most Americans know that American paparazzi are absolute MONSTERS and pride themselves on being terrible to celebrities to get a rise out of them. They are all freelance, so they can’t get fired too! American paparazzi are like the ultimate haters, but the celebrities have to tolerate them because otherwise they’ll get a picture of them upset and sell it for a million dollars to the tabloids. Yujin was having trouble with her mic, she was trying to fix it, that's why you see her repeatedly fixing her outfit, she was trying to reach the mic thingy, you can also see Wonyoung and Leeseo helping her, but she didn't manage to fix it, it was still bothering her and she had an upset face (The performance before, her mic didn't work, the event was quite a mess, she complained to backstage staff numerous times), after that you can see her confused pointing at some fan probably saying something to her or maybe writing it but maybe she couldn't understand ? Or found something odd. Anyways, the two things are unrelated but it is edited so that people think she was uncomfortable and someone was trying to film her in an inappropriate angle. Farming drama, probably some femcels trying to paint Men in a bad light. To be honest, the university students are right, they should stop inviting idols, their fans are crazy, that's a fact. Secondly, I encourage Male students to boycott Female performances, this smearing and slandering compains against them are getting out of hand
