Why did you say that? There’s a lot of circle symbolism that I’m still trying to figure out. There is a code within his music that nobody ever saw. I guess I was the only one and once I realized that he gave up and he said specific code word I had fun with the scavenger hunt so now I don’t know how to feel I didn’t know if it was a secret or not even his name has double meaning. I felt like I was really starting to understand him and I mean really understand him not base layer not second layer not even hidden layer. We are talking hidden hidden layer shit that nobody else was ever gonna catch and now the clues that I’ve been using to find the code words might disappear on me. What a bummer.

It’s a video that I made proving why Aesop Rock is the greatest rapper. I’m still trying to organize it in a way that you guys can understand how I got to my understanding of it so that you guys can go out and help me collect these code words I just wanted to make sure I had enough of them before I started to prove that there was a whole secret code inside of aces music. Like I’m not gonna lie I covered as much stuff as I could in just the introduction and the first bar and I still feel like I missed a lot but I know I at least have like 80% of that stuff. My thoughts exactly. Can't stand the commercial crap their passing out these days. Teenage female "rappers" out there making millions strictly off marketing and promotion... Don't think this is what KRS one, Big L, and Rakim had visioned for the genre.smh. I'd throw on some Aesop ,comp flow, or Mr lif before any of this drake, Kendrick Lamar, lil Wayne crap any day

As a homebody with social anxiety I relate so much to this chorus, getting ready to go somewhere or do something you thought you wanted to and basically opening the door and just bailing last second feeling like "the whole street is lava the beyond is not a go."

Got off work earlier today and pulled into the Parking lot of my favorite liquor store. Saw 5 pigeons by a dumpster to my left pecking at what I thought was cigarettes and ketchup and was surprised because I don’t see pigeons almost ever where I live. This prompted me to put pigeonometry on in the car. Went inside and bought beer, came out of the parking lot to turn the corner and saw no signs of piegeons. They vanished and I was sad. Bumped this song all the way home. 2 hours later see Aesop has dropped the video for this amazing track. Realized those pigeons were there to notify me of this video. The universe does talk to us.

I'm trying to corral my thoughts on day-to-day topics and he's writing a unique poem about birds that makes me question my biases while producing a banger beat to pair it with. Unmatched genius. He's someone who really likes observing the world. He's thoughtful and introspective and a guy who sees profundity in the mundane. It's really amazing.

I love how the beat in this track keeps evolving and surprising you. Some of the best lyrics on the album I’d say, but there are so many headspinners on this album it’s hard to pick a favorite based on rhymes alone, but I’d say this is one his absolute best. But I like his weird ones. “Dog at the Door” for life.

Great media addition that only Aes could deliver. (I also bought a shirt from the merch "capsule.") This short ended after the first chorus, but one of my favorite elements of this track is the veering bassline that comes in with the second verse.

100%, the white doves that they release at weddings are pigeons because they come back after they are released. When i was a kid my cat attacked one of them, after i nursed it back to health i couldn't get rid of the damn thing, let it go 40 miles from home and it would be back before k was so then i just had a tough-as-nails white pigeon for a pet for the next ~15 years
