Aero 4 stroke engine 0323

I can hardly tell you how many times I have been asked if there is a decent 4-stroke engine for very light aircraft, including Part 103 ultralight vehicles. Too often the answer has been, "I knew of one, but they seem to have left the business." While we have other choices coming, one that has been proven since Sun 'n Fun 2022, is already available, and is working beautifully is the Aero 1000. This engine is manufactured in Switzerland, using the same quality their famous watches receive, but it is now represented in America by Air-Tech, Inc., the world's leading expert on Quicksilver aircraft and many other ultralight vehicles.

    Dan, I have always appreciated the subject matter your videos have addressed over the many years you have been doing them. However, I believe your interviews would be improved if, after asking the interviewee a question, you would make it a point to let the person provide a full answer before interjecting. While I acknowledge your depth of experience on all things related to light aviation, in your interviews it sometimes seems that you are showcasing your knowledge more than necessary. Just ask good questions and let the person answer.

    100% I love Dan’s channel but he can get in the way of letting the manufactures explain things in full, he needs to let them fully respond before interjecting his thoughts.

    this engine been on fresh breeze ppg trikes (German Company) for several years now so not really new. I cant warn anyone enough you need to use hi octane fuel no less than 93 octane to prevent detonation failure that has occurred on a guy that has one of these on a fresh breeze ppg trike, the piston cracked at the connecting rod journal rod from detonation as he didn't use hi octane fuel. at first he used hi octane fuel for a long time and everything was great, as soon as he switched to low octane below 93 he had a detonation piston failure, he rebuilt the engine and went back to hi octane fuel and running good again. Blackhawk PPG in California is also dealer for this engine, I have a buddy with this engine on a PPG quad using this engine since 2018, these engines are very pricey as well.

    Little too pricey for me I'm looking at the V-twin engines lots of them out there with fuel injection and ace aviation makes redrive units that cost less than $1000. Entire engines have $3000 in it. Honda and lot of others make these V-twin engines.

    wow, terrible option, and 10k lmfao, gouge. you can get a 3 stroke radial FOR LESS money and better performance and not sound like an annoying racing kart to those you fly over. this is 50% MORE RPM than an annoying 2 stroke. this is just one more engine option that will fade awayyyyyyyy. You can do better with a built predator for 3k and half the rpm, and its four stroke and dual cylinders.
