Aerial Views of Shanklin to Luccombe Cliffs, Isle of Wight

With all the cliff erosion and rock falls that we’ve had on the Isle of Wight recently, I thought that I would do more videos of when I’m out and about, just so there’s a nice record of how things are looking currently.
If you are planning on visiting this area, you basically just walk right along to the West end of Shanklin Beach and keep walking. It is VERY IMPORTANT though that you time it correctly as the water does come right up to the cliffs, so you should only attempt the walk on a falling or low tide. PLEASE be careful and make sure you respect the dangers of the sea.
In the video you can see various small waterfalls and rock falls. Cliff falls are very common along the South of the Isle of Wight, so please be careful and be aware of any loose rocks or sudden movement. For most of the walk to Luccombe you can keep a reasonable distance from the cliffs, but there are a couple of sections where you will need to walk right under the cliff. Probably best not to linger there too long ;)
The scenery is lovely in the area, so it is well worth visiting.
