(4K, 2023) Aer Lingus Airbus A320-200 (EI-DVM - "Retojet") approach and landing on Runway 34 at Cork, Ireland, operating flight EI723 to from London Heathrow in early August 2023. Skip to the landing at timestamp 06:05. I don't normally record videos from this flight route anymore as I have recorded it many, many times. However, on this flight I was a transfer passenger, booked as a connecting flight with British Airways, and so I couldn't select my preferred seat in front of the engine. Instead, I was assigned seat 24F, behind the wing. Since I haven't recorded from this position in a long while, I thought, why not? An unusual sky on this flight - the ground appeared very dark during descent from above the clouds with the setting sun, but was far brighter and clearer by the time we finally reached Cork, almost 90 minutes late due to poor weather at Heathrow earlier in the day.
