Hey Sci-Fi Tabletop and RPG Fans,
we are back with our fourth Kickstarter and are really proud to introduce the Aeon Eagle, a cosmic commerce cruiser that's truly out of this world!
The Aeon Eagle boasts a spacious cockpit upfront, perfect for those long-haul space trips. Behind it, you'll find cozy crew quarters and a communal area. The rear section houses a massive cargo hold, with additional space in the wings for essential rooms like engine, computer, and sensor chambers.
Of course we have prepared a lot of stretch goals so we'll expand this big beauty with a second level, a med lab, a science lab, cryo chambers and much, more.
The base ship measures an impressive 30 inches long and 20 inches wide-but there is even a stretch goal with a module to make it as long as you wish.
The Aeon Eagle is a stand-alone ship with a completely new shape and design. However, we love cross-compatibility and modularity between gamesART models. So, we'll offer special compatibility modules for previous lines, allowing you to use parts like the head of your USTG, UCV - Brick or UCV - Warbug with the body of the Aeon Eagle.
While considering the modularity of my ships, I encountered the problem that I play sci-fi games in different scales, mostly 28 or 32 mm. I wanted to use the same ship for both scales without printing it twice. The solution? An outer hull that works well with both scales and interior designs tailored to each scale. This way, you only need to print the ship once. Print the outer hull without scaling changes and then print two different interiors. By switching them out, you can easily change from one scale to the other.
This way it seamlessly integrates with various sci-fi gaming environments, including popular systems like Star Wars: Infinity, Core Space, Five Parsecs from Home, Stargrave, and even Warhammer 40K and Kill Team and offers a lot of possibilities for boarding action.
As always, gamesART uses the OpenLOCK clip system for effortless assembly. This clip system enables quick, glue-free construction, making model-building a breeze.
This 3D-printable spaceship is available on Kickstarter. The campaign launches on the 28th of June 2024.
