    If the screw is too tight. The screw that holds the barrel housing. If it's too tight. It won't spring down. And shots won't fire. If it's loose the shots fire easier. That's what I found out so far. I'm not sure if u loosen it , if it'll decrease the power or not.

    @@thedefensecoalition He sells out FAST. When he does a run of 40 moulds, if they are a PCP centerfire round that can be PERFECTLY used in a PCP, , 40 moulds SELL OUT FAST, of one style, when PCP people have figured it out... he DOES, without a doubt, make the longest lasting moulds. best hardware, best machining. A few other CLOSE calls companies, but AL NELSON of NOE, he knows what is going on in the World of Moulds Machinist and designers. No need to mention other companies, but I’ve used many ‘molds’ by about every brand out there, and i still WAIT for NOE - and his machine shop to produce yet another run of gems-to-be! When he releases a repeat mould that PCPers can use, he, SELLS OUT QUICK. He has constant issues with Human Resources, as it is not ‘monkey work’ like casting IS most certainly- just make sure monkey wears a suit and mask/etc! You can certainly get sizer body, he came up with, the PushThroughSizingDie, yeah, HarHar, PTSD. Which moulds are you specifically waiting for? I talk with AL every month or so, to check in on what snappin’.... If people like, i can make announcements when he has repeat cycles of moulds I have demo-ed on video, showing their GRAND performance NOT MY OWN(user errors!), i ALWAYS have more work to do on ‘Grouping Therapy’. Its what some were meant to do.

    I forgot, WHAT OTHER caliber MOLDS you looking for? i have tried A LOT OF LEE and others, and own a bunch, also... i just DETEST them and inferior quality. LEE PRECISION ONCE WAS A HIGH QUALITY COMPANY. I was using my 1986 purchased first shotgun reloader and it lasted until i sold in a move 30 years later. If you would like, let me know WHICH calibers and i MAY be able to tell you which 358s work AWESOME in a Bulldog or texan or whatnot. Some folks,, i reckon believe i am a hot air bag. maybe, i have been hit several times with AIRBAGS deploying from DRUNKS hitting me... maybe that why i 'drone on' about ballistics and techniques. I will be compiling an extensive DO IT YOURSELF set of DOCS and videos, to reduce others' chances of LEAD POISONING too. Every time i see a CASTING VIDEO with a guy handling LEAD WITHOUT ANY GLOVES, no mask, etc here is my equation: = FLINT, MICHIGAN = Me , Even with OSHA Standards(Occupational Safety and Health Administration), you can STILL get exposed, which is irreversible, according to all specialists i have contacts in medical field. EG: DIY Blackpowder LEE MOULD- Today, another 300+ rounds using blackpowder dual cav LEE R.E.A.L. 250gr drive bands, blackpowder 'R.E.A.L Rifling Engraved At Loading (REAL) The driving bands are large enough to adequately engage the rifling when pushed into the muzzle, and thin enough to withstand maximum charges without stripping or gas cutting.' Lee Website , leeprecision.com/bullet-casting/black-powder-molds/black-powder-real-bullet-combo-molds/ at consecutive sizing/drive bands/ rings, ~ .516, .514, .512 or so = example of adapting CHEAP $25.00 LEE mold into AMAZING TEXAN (upto) 0.517" reduced to Texan ROUNDS for fraction of PENNY(one cent US$0.01- ) . of Texan, for me, to work on MAYBE a .509 being better. NOT a .510 and on MAX TEXAN Carbon Power Tune. It is one of many, a R.E.A.L. LEE basic two cavity. Another, a great one, not as nice as beveled back NOE design TC, but a 105gr 358 TC LEE . Fantastic at 150yards in Bulldogs. mold cost me $16.00 on eBay, 'used' lightly. LIKE NEW. I am trying to give whoever reads this, IDEAS to HELP cast their own, and SAVE MONEY. MY GOAL. PPCP folks shoot more FOR LESS , using their brain and a little bit of elbow grease, a term that seems to have lost its merit. One example of a blackpower adaptation using that PTDS from NOE(i just checked he has in, and it would be about $45.00 mailed with discount) - but as far as moulds LEE is certainly one company i use a BUNCH of moulds from, not too thrilled, but they WORK, and do so for years and years, IF maintained carefully. Someone asked me to generate a list of all the moulds, including LEE which i have been through adapting to fit to NOT centerfire/blackpowder, but making their drive rings WORK advantageously, rather than being hindrance - As for LEAD POISON MEASURES VS Shooting Time = Adding Power Coating with the electric SPRAYER into 325f oven for 25min and just integrating into my CastingLine,. those should be fun to see in BRIGHT colors impacting. you can tell i love the field, for decades, too long say lead panels. so, my own errors, lead oxide by accident outside in WINDS and masks... ouch. Adapt and improvise. Again. Happy Casting Endeavors, Sir! 'Some men see things as they are and say why, I dream things that never were and say, why not' - George Bernard Shaw - ' THINK OUTSIDE THE BUCKET = me. burn the 'box' and cook something.

    Wow it's hard to know where to start. But I just sincerely want to help get some info out there to you and people who watch this. This is a very much less lethal deterrent type device. It would be hard to imagine how it could kill any thing larger than a big rat. Central valley airgunners Weighed the dart 92.59 grains he chronographed it's speed at 337fps that's 23 energy foot pounds. So I'll start with this is less than any firearm I've personally ever seen. Even the tiny little NAA mini.22 revolvers that look like they could be a keychain decoration damn near, And that's with a .22 SHORT loaded in them! In comparison the 9mm you mentioned the extreme low end of power achieved is around the low 200's in foot pounds. I will move on to the deer that you are sure this will take down. Negatory. I must assume you reached this conjecture by the ''penetration'' on this toaster. The paper thin tin this toaster is made out of is just hard enough to be rather brittle. It breaks very easily. Flesh and bone have density, elasticity and give. This device will not penetrate any vital areas of an animal of any real size. Wild assumptions and conjecture like this could lead people to fantasize that they had a powerful weapon and be over confident and get in serious trouble. This device is as I said a deterrent and should be used as a last resort hoping that the noise, gun like appearance or pain will distract the attacker long enough for you to escape. Perhaps maybe even cause them to flee. The best hope would be to hit them in the face and hope for pain compliance or the flight rather than fight instinct to kick in. I personally would only deploy it when every other method to exit or deescalate the situation had been exhausted. And even then I would be ready for a fight with my knife if they didn't run. I would NEVER try to use it against an armed attacker. And even an unarmed attacker that was a bad motherf*cker I'd hand him my cash or use the knife first. I will conclude by saying it's better than nothing but only in some situations. In others it will drastically escalate the situation. If firearms are not an option get an hpss+ and a vertx transit sling 2.0 bag and carry that. Never carry this without respect for it's serous limitations and a backup weapon.

    we need more experiments done with this to see what this thing is really capable of. Try a motorcycle helmet?

  • @airgunfun4248

    @airgunfun4248

    2 жыл бұрын

    @@JM-zz3vs How about ballistic gel or a Paul Harrell style ''meat target? If that is cost prohibitive then a widely accepted medium is 1/2 inch pine. A 1/2 inch pine board is commonly used to measure minimum level of lethality. People say the army came up with the idea that if something will penetrate 1/2 inch pine it has reached the lethal threshold. Now that's NOT stopping power it's just that without medical help they will probably succumb to their wound at some point. Always remember lethal doesn't mean stopping power. I shoot the defender with arrows and the 81gn jsb at a pine board and they make a little dent is all(check it out). And that brings me to ammo choice. In this device the pellet is the very best choice. You see the skirt expands and catches more air before it leaves the barrel. That combined with the lighter weight mean more velocity. You are not going to be attacked by a motorcycle helmet or a toaster or a pine board for that matter. But the latter is considered to be a close replication of the sternum or ribcage. A toaster is kinda fun but provides no meaningful data. Bottom line this device is firmly in the less/NON lethal category. Something to think about
