Ended up changing my order to the 8 inch model and it ships out the end of this week they said . So three weeks total, not too bad. Cabela's has Winchester triple seven primers in stock here in west Virginia also. I can't wait to shoot the beast .

The pistol l came today and was not the quality I was expecting. The break action is all loose and the gun rattles around in my hand even when closed. I'm going to try and contact them today about fixing it or getting a replacement

I live in Bucks County, literally a foot step outside of Philadelphia, and I can get this delivered to my front door. Actually any kind of black powder pistol I can buy and get brought right to my door. Once I cross that line into Philly, forget it. You can't even buy airguns in Philadelphia. Its wrong... all the criminals got guns and they make it hard for every day people to defend themselves.

@@diontaehickmond9314 only thing about black powder in PA is they treat them as firearms when carried out in public. For example, a prohibited person could order it, but would get in trouble if he or she was caught with it up in PA.

You do not NEED the "over powder" card ! It is a NEEDLESS added expense!!! The wad by itself does the same thing very sufficiently.

I agree it’s not needed. When I loaded up without one, i started to lose loose grains of powder and it’s a mess. The powder stays in with a simple overshot card. That over powder wad is a bit thick but i do see what you mean as it being an extra expense.

Good explanation of loading. 👍. I will point out, though, that 3F works just fine. The guidelines of "2F or larger for 50 cal and above" and "3f for 50 cal and below" are just guidelines. Any reasonable grain size will work. The granules burn from the surface in to the center, so large bores benefit from larger grains and longer barrels by having more acceleration time. That's not going happen with the short barrels of the Diablo. You can go too small, though. 4F and Null-B are priming powders. They burn too quickly to be safe. 3F, 2F, 1.5F, and 1F would all be safe, but 3F in those short barrels will give the best performance.

Thanks for a precise description, including your concerns. When you say it can fire, half cocked, does that include in center position, so both barrels will fire at once?

I wonder tho about gun ranges and the police. I really doubt they know their legal status and I can see massive hassle.

I could be wrong but I think your message that came up saying it would fire when "half-cocked" is incorrect. I watched a different video and Half Cocked is supposed to be "safe". What the other video said is that it can fired when the hammer is all the way down because it is resting on the firing pins. So any sudden impact could cause it to go off.

Are you sure with the barrel switch on the left shoots the left barrel ,& the switch on the right shoots the right barrel ? Seems weird they would switch left and shoot right barrel! My double barrels have 2 triggers , when you press both triggers , the earth moves 👀!

Given the slow reload time, I wish they would have made it a 4 barrel deal instead of just 2. They should have also either made it 2 triggers (for 2 barrels) or one trigger with 4 hammers that all release off of the same trigger progressively as the trigger is pulled further and further.

@@The1saturn it would literally be 2 extra tubes, which are less than a foot long already. I could see that being a valid argument if they were full 18"+ each. It can't be that much extra and it's not something you're going to carry around with you anyway. That's to say nothing of the price. For the price and size of them, I found get a Mossberg shockwave (4-6capacity in one gun instead of only 2), a sling, and a dot for it and still have money left over for a pistol. That, or 2 pistols and 2 dots,

in the real world there are issues with having more than two barrels. hence why very few three and four barrel shotguns. I forget the technical terminology but getting the fired projectiles to hit the same area gets incredibly difficult hence most makers give up. @@toomanyaccounts there are 3 and even 4 barreled shotguns (some stacked horizontally, some stacked). The real issue with it is having all that weight with a full length barrel, which isn't a problem here. There was even a patent for a 4 barrel car shotgun made out of cheap metal (zinc or something) that died out because of thr NFA. In the case of this black powder version, that's not an issue. There is a 3 barrel shotgun that has a revolving firing pin. In this case, you could probably get away with having a single trigger with a plate that touched all 4 hammers, and just have the timing on each hammer a little different so that as you pull the trigger further back, a different hammer drops off the plate. kzread.info/dash/bejne/goV_m6yHo9XXj5s.htmlsi=8pQTMh5vSgjngbja

at one point it was mentioned they had or were planning 20 gauge. there are howdah flintlock pistols in 20 gauge by Pedersoli called Howdah Hunter.

You have the AGC and the Pedersoli Howdah, which would you choose if you could only have one? Personally, I know the Howdah looks nicer with the wood and styling, but for a shooter, with the new normal for percussion caps being they're never available, I think the AGC is the way to go. 209's might not be as cheap as they were in 2019, but they are far more available than caps are today. Also, I assume 209's are more reliable than percussion caps, yes?

You’re right about 209’s being more reliable than caps. As far as availability? I can find 11 caps all around my area. I keep them both around the house and daily carry the Diablo bc of the 209 reliability.

Thanks for the reply, my mind was kind of made up, but getting informed opinions from owners with experience is always helpful. BTW, you should do more videos. You're probably the most no nonsense channel on here regarding modern use of black powder firearms for self defense.

I’ve got some hollow point sabot slugs in it now. I ordered a .690 mold for some round ball and now I need a 1 oz slug mold.
