5:00 "Solving difficult problems surrounded by friends" that's the formula. Humans are social animals. For me, the "friends" variable was missing in my life equation. Loneliness murdered me.

I want to start my own startup, but it's tough to find a new problem that no one has fixed yet. Nowadays, most problems already have solutions. Older developers succeeded because when they were younger, there were more problems to solve since technology wasn't as advanced as it is now

As an entrepreneur, I see problems everywhere. I can find at least 10 interesting problems each day that would be worth solving. And as more tools are being developed (AI and other tech) the amount of problems that can be solved are getting greater and greater. I think you're just telling yourself excuses, probably because you're too afraid to start or to fail. If you wanted to start a startup, you already would have. So, put on your entrepreneurial glasses, find a problem and just get started.

Everyone is different so what I say won’t necessarily apply to you. With that being said, for me the only good reason to start a startup is if you have an idea to solve a problem that you’re passionate about which nobody is solving (or nobody is solving well enough). If you think you want to found a startup and that isn’t the reason why, I think you probably like the idea of starting one a lot more than the reality. For the record, it might or might not be true to say it used to be easier to find a good idea. But I would caution you, beware the addictive properties of copium 😛
