Ya, it can be tricky to find that 'balance' between what FB wants and what you want to display... Once you get it figured out, you are off to the races, tho! Enjoy the process!

Miles, if I am getting 10x the amount of CLICKS on my ad as opposed to LINK CLICKS, does that mean I should somehow make my main facebook page more appealing? Seems like people are looking at my page, noticing that it has only a few likes (since i just created it to advertise) and think any of my offers are scam? Is that the right solution or is there something else you found from your experience that's causing such a huge ratio of clicks to link clicks?

Are you by any chance running a paper engagement campaign? Or are you running a traffic or conversion campaign? Facebook delivers you the type of person based on the campaign, sso if it's an engagement based campaign they're going to send you people who engage which are clicks not clicks to site. I second thought is that the ad copy might not be super clear with the call to action.... I don't think most people are clicking through the ad to go check you out to go back to the ad to them potentially click through... I think people are simply engaging with the ad instead of clicking through and that's something to do with the ad, not so much the fan page. Do you have the "learn more" button at the bottom? Are you telling them in the headline description to click the link more button? We have to be really, really specific with our calls to action! When the ad copy is dialed and really connects with the needs desires and wants of the target market, offering them the potential to "scratch their itch" they are going to click through and convert!

Thank you for the thorough reply. I was running a conversion campaign. I do have the 'learn more' button and in my headline i tell them to try my product out for free, didn't say anything about click the learn more button specifically - you have a point there. And yes good point, that is good to know. Just trying to get any variables out of the way, thanks for the advice!

You have a link inside of your ad copy? if you do and they click that link... That counts as a "click" not a "link click" So you got a really good story and a hard call to action in your top text... Or give supershort top text with a link and it's getting clicked more than anything else, that could definitely skew your numbers. I only track 'clicks' in the ads manager... But really I don't even monitor that metric very much, I'm much more about my cost per lead and my cost per customer!

My funnel for my first client is all set up and onboarding process is done (setting up pixel, uploading email list etc) Copy is complete. Now I just need to put the ad together and launch it! super exciting

YOU ABSOLUTELY ROCK!!!!! I was trying to figure out how in the hell my suggested bid was at $23+ and I followed your trainings and now Im literally at less than $.50 per ad click. In fact Im freaking at $.03 per click on one of my ads. Im going to increase the price a bit and Im sure that will get me in front of more people! OMG YOU SOOOOOOO ROCK!!! I wish I could should you a screen capture!

Hey Miles, I was already doing something pretty similar to the info you shared, but I dialed it in for an ad campaign and wanted to share that my results were awesome. I ended up with a $.02 PPC with over 1200 clicks in a day. Unfortunately I had no funnel setup on my website (rebuilding the site now), but I can definitely say it has helped! Looks like I have a killer ad and a good audience, just have to set up the funnel now to make sure I get conversions, thanks a ton!

unbelievably good. It's so hard to find someone who isn't just a "cult of personality." These "so called" experts talk a great game about helping people; then keep all their cards close to their chest. When you find someone who says they want to help and then helps ...... it's far more realistic to think their paid help is actually worth something. I can't wait to watch the next video.

Great to hear! Glad you enjoyed the video and have some new found confidence. Important to remember that I totally sucked at FB ads the first several times I made them... The system is awkward at best. But once I got used to it and got some experience with the system, things started 'clicking' and since that point it has been much more fun and productive.

Great timing to start a campaign... All the 'big businesses' blew the rest of their marketing budgets for 2016 between Thanksgiving and Christmas, so the prices are starting to normalize! Remember that you are buying data in addition to leads and sales, so it is an investment, not an expense!

Please, produce as much as you can. Please tell me all the things you know. These Videos are so amazing, so smart, so tricky, so helpfull. I start watching them yesterday, and I can`t stop doing this. Thank you so much.
