Adventures in Jeonju, South Korea | Foodie City | Traditional Hanok Village

🌟 Exploring Jeonju should be on your South Korea bucket list! It has everything a curious traveler could want - rich culture, stunning sights, and mouthwatering traditional foods! 🇰🇷 In this week's travel vlog, I venture must-visit attractions and the culinary treasures that make Jeonju a true gem.
🏛️ A must-see is the Jeonju Hanok Village, a UNESCO City of Gastronomy. Immerse yourself in the charm of traditional Korean architecture and culture. You can even choose to overnight at a traditional Hanok - totally worth it!
🍚 Jeonju is renowned for its culinary delights, and I wasn't going to miss it! From Bibimbap, the city's iconic dish, to savory Jeonju-style Hanjeongsik (Korean full-course meal), to Makgeolli (Korean Rice Wine), these authentic flavors will leave you mesmerized.
🎭 Explore the vibrant art scene and traditional arts around the city or at the National Intangible Heritage Center.
🌸 Don't miss the breathtaking springtime beauty at Omokdae and Imokdae, two hilltop pavilions offering panoramic views of cherry blossoms in full bloom - the views are incredible even out of season.
📝 Watch Hanji (traditional Korean paper) made before your eyes as it has been for hundreds of years.

I spent 6 months living in the worlds smallest studio apartment in Jeonju, SK back in 2009. Every day I would take a bus 45 minutes to Sunchang to teach Elementary School kiddos. Happiest time of my life. Thanks for reminding me of the great food and atmosphere!
