Cappadocia was easily one of our favorite areas of Turkey, and it was so sad that we spent most of our time there sick. On this day, we were recovering after a few days stuck inside and we weren't feeling our best, especially Isla. But we tried to make the most of it and take a walk around the open-air museum.
Unfortunately, filming and picture taking is not allowed inside the churches and chapels at Goreme Open Air Museum, so we didn't get much footage here. It's a cool place with so many buildings to explore. Many of the churches and chapels even had some of the original paint and murals on the walls. It was a nice and short day- trip for us, but in our opinion not worth the high entry fee.
We also attempted to hike down into Love Valley today but put the wrong address into the GPS. Don't worry though, we did end up exploring Love Valley on another day and even got some great drone footage.
