    Great consolidation of your time in Cappadocia, viewers who have not seen the earlier VLOG, must see them, as good as the consolidation, individual vlog display the true spectacular beauty of nature's creation. Peter, so happy you shared another scene of the adopted pet towards the end 🙂. Yes it was a good breakfast with this vlog and have a great week both!

    Ok so I'm way behind on watching these again! Haven't admit I'm having less time on here anyway! Yeah it certainly has been an amazing location to visit! Yeah such an amazing landscape and actually what a cool idea for a video on this, will be very helpful for people who can afford to travel, which isn't me at the moment! Haha! Oh yes that 5 hour cooked meat be so wonderful! I giggle when you said that taxis were more expensive especially when you convert it to New Zealand dollars! Heck it's a bargain! Yeah great advice on those balloon rides too, yeah I'd prefer a silent sunrise, definitely without loud music, or perhaps more appropriate music; some ethereal music would be quite good! Some amazing advice on those caves and many other stuff! Heck those ceramics are amazing, amazing designs and patterns! Yeah such a great video and great idea for this video; I know will help many people planning to travel there!

We travel in June. I read a lot of mixed reviews and I tend to believe in the negative ones.. did you like your hotel in goreme? I’m thinking of splitting the days too. Staying at Uchisar also.. I haven’t seen your hotel there. We’re in a budget and been very busy with work and everything. Please give us some tips.. I got to go back to work.. thanks!

    Hiya 👋🏼 thanks for the kind words! Aww it's ok it can be overwhelming planning a trip especially to a new and unknown place! We liked splitting up our accommodation and time between Göreme and Uçhisar. If you wanna see our Uçhisar accommodation it's in this video in the second half: kzread.info/dash/bejne/f6unuaieYs2_dtY.html For our Göreme accommodation it was fine, nothing luxurious! Only thing that was a lil negative was that sometimes lil sediments would fall from the ceiling onto the seat bench and outside our room too (coz it is a cave afterall!) lucky nothing fell onto us or the bed 😂 we just took it as part of the experience haha. It was a convenient location though so if you find something with good reviews in that same area that's a good spot where you can walk to everything easily. We really liked our Uçhisar accommodation though. Great location in Uçhisar right next to the castle and near to some good restaurants too. Best of luck with your planning, exciting trip to look forward to 😁

    Hey! Thanks for your quick response I’m actually waiting for it and after I shower I’ll try book our hotel. It’s really overwhelming.. Yeah, I heard from Yen about that sandy sendiments dropping from above as other reviews too. And they said it smells and damp. But sure we have to experience the cave. Other problems I heard was the bathroom clogged and smell like sewer. They even mentioned bed bugs yuk! I’m Asian I play with bugs but I would hate bedbugs. I’ll watch your Uchisar later.. I got to plan for he whole month of June.. we’re going to Montenegro and Croatia after. And then join a group tour of Central Europe. I will have to find a third job! 😂 Thanks!

    My husband and I are going to Cappadocia at the end of Aug into Sept for 4 nights. We're trying to figure out the best way for us to get around to make the most of our time as well as to reach some more further out points like possibly Lake Tuz, Uchisar Castle, the Open Air Museum, and to check out some of the valleys and view points like; Rose valley, Ihara Valley, Strange love valley, highest point of Cappadocia etc. We don't love the idea of a public tour because we've found in the past they take much longer since your dealing with large groups of people/drop offs and pick ups. What would you recommend between a tour or just renting a car? Or do you have any private tour companies you'd recommend?

  • @PeterandYen

    @PeterandYen

    Жыл бұрын

    Hello, roads in some parts of cappadocia aren't the best but hiring a car is your best way to enjoy the area at your own pace and most likely the best cost wise if you have a jam packed schedule. But you don't have to rent everyday for example if you have hot air balloon they will pick you up from your accomodation. Then you can taxi to the open air museum or go to uchisar castle (depends where you're staying) Then on the other days hire a car and go to all the other more harder to reach areas.

  • @PeterandYen

    @PeterandYen

    Ай бұрын

    We don't have children ourselves so can't speak from a parental point of view but just thinking it might be a bit tricky with a 2 year old unless you're always carrying them.. mainly coz the roads especially in Göreme aren't really sealed in most places so it might be difficult if you need to use a push pram with all the uneven surfaces when exploring? Plus the rock castles are basically open formations so could easily fall if not careful. I think it may be easier with slightly older kids.. but hopefully some other parents might see this comment and help chime in with more expertise and insights for you ❤️🤞🏼🙂

    We did stay in a cave hotel, you can check it out in our other vlogs from Cappadocia 🙂Should be in the first vlog from our cappadocia videos 👍 As for the advice on things not to do, although Cappadocia is known more to locals as the land of beautiful horses we passed on the horse riding activities mainly coz we've done it in NZ and some other countries before so wasn't that keen there and opted for ATV riding instead which we thought was more fun and unique for us. We also skipped on seeing whirling dervish performances in Cappadocia as we were going to Konya after which is where they originate from so preferred to watch it there. Of the attractions that get pushed by the tour agencies, we'd say that if there's one you can miss it's probably pigeon valley. We went there on our own and it was also part of a tour we joined on another day but of all the cool stuff in Cappadocia, would say that's low on the list. Of course everything is to each their own preferences but that's ours 🙂 Hope that helps a bit! 🙂

    @@PeterandYen thanks for answering. I am going on June but the travel agency only gave us two mornings in the itinerary to attempt the balloon ride. We hope we can do it the first day. 🙏

    I am planning to visit Cappadocia early December. Can you please share some names of reliable tour operators for the green and red route? For hot air balloon, i heard company 'voyager' is the best. Thoughts?

    We only went on the Green Tour but made a vlog about it here: kzread.info/dash/bejne/aGFpvLuwZ7bckps.html so we don't have any other operators to compare it to. There are so many there though and it feels like a luck of the draw with whether you get a good guide (ours was just ok) but the itinerary is all very similar. Heard of voyager, we think they're the one with the really big balloon? We went with Butterfly Balloons though and were happy with our flight 🙂 also have a video of our hot air balloon day if you're interested. Just check out our Turkey playlist or search "Peter and Yen hot air balloon". Hope you have a great time in Cappadocia!

    Thank you for the video. I am visiting Cappadocia on November 5th. I have some questions: - How many days do you recommend me to stay in that place? - Can I take the hot air balloon tour? - How is the weather on those days? - Do you recommend that I wear a jacket? Greetings from Perú. :)

    Hello 👋🙂 I think we covered most of your questions in the video but the longer you can stay the better and really depends on how much you wanna see and do 🙂 it'll start to get colder in November so a jacket is a good idea 🙂

    Hi, did you have any issues traveling and flying your drone in Cappadocia? Are foreign nationals allowed to bring and fly drones that weigh less than 500 grams (DJI Minis) in Turkey without any registrations and licenses?

    Hello, I gave a $5nzd tip to the owner of the horse to film that little segment. You can try to find other photographers on Instagram too compare prices, but we don't personally know any that are cheaper.

    May🌷🌹 I share an Old Testament Verse with you from🌻 Daniel 7:14 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should SERVE Him; his dominion is an Everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." Also, can I share Isaiah 53:5 " But HE was WOUNDED For our TRANSGRESSIONS, he was BRUISED for our iniquities; the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His STRIPES we are HEALED."🦋🌿🌷 God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin.Then, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! 👨‍🦯🐦🌺He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?

    Be very vigilant and carefully examine the bathing water before letting children or adults onto the beach. The lionfish has a poison similar to the cobra snake. Death and/or long-term extreme pain if you get stung. The extreme pain can last for several days. The mediterainean sea and beaches far out west in sea is much better for your childsand yourself. Select Greece, Italy, Spain they are much better choices for your holiday, if you don’t want to endup I the hospital What happens if you get hit by a lionfish? Lionfish spines provide a toxic sting that lasts a few days and can cause extreme pain. Sweating, shortness of breath, and even paralysis. Lionfish poison can sting you even after the fish dies. The poison is a neurotoxin. The lionfish not only has a huge appetite, but there is a similar type of gusto. According to the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), they reproduce year-round, causing a mature female to shed about 2 million eggs per year. Unfortunately, the lionfish has established populations , in Mediterranean. Here, they have essentially invaded the area, preying voraciously on native fish species, increasing rapidly in abundance, and expanding over a vast range, all over the Turkish mediterainian coast and beaches.
