Adventure Vlog #15 ATV trail riding at Wandering Wiregrass in the Ocala National Forest. TRX700xx
This has been a 3-month process in order for me to pull this off. From trading my motorcycle for its "Concours 14", preparing my 08 Prius so it could trailer it, getting a trailer, doing maintenance on both the Honda TRX700xx and the trailer, and getting the trailer and ATV registered, me going over budget and having to sell my 9.8hp Tohatsu outboard, you guys get the idea. Even though it was an arduous process, it was freaking worth it! My gosh, this machine is so much fun and the trail was very jumpy to the point that my arms and legs are sore as I am typing this. I met a great dude called Chris "Bowser" who showed me the ropes of this trail, we even did some public service by cleaning up a spot where some partygoers made a mess. It seems the rangers are considering closing this trail due to riders leaving messes behind.
I am looking forward to my next adventure with my TRX, most likely it will be Big Scrub ATV Campground because not only do they have campsites you can camp in but they also allow overland camping with your ATV on the Centennial Trail.

Haha! You were fast, I was having a hard time keeping up. I also think my dinosaur quad is heavier than yours too.
A master of the sea ( inflatables ), the air (drone) and now land! Great stuff Eric

Haha! I liked that. Now I'll be covering some land areas with the 4-wheeler. From the looks of it, it'll be mainly The Ocala National Forest but I've seen a few more places up north from Central Florida.

I guess I watched your videos in reverse. Glad to hear you enjoyed that area. For your info, that section is not going to close any time soon, but it is true that FWC is not grooming it due to people trashing it. For a atv rider, way too many woops, but for dirt bikes it is good. Also, Florida allows hunting in all these areas, so during September thru March, you will see hunters, some with dogs. Still, with an ATV if you want a good work out, this will do it. If you follow the trail, it is 16 miles, 70% woops and the rest sugar sand. Glad you enjoyed the ride. I am always happy to see new riders follow the rules( helmet, pass to ride, clean up your riding area and staying in trails), it helps keep out riding areas open and good influence other new riders to be safe, so we can keep a great place to enjoy this sport. Thanks for a good video.

Yes, it is an incredible workout. I go to Rodman OHV trail if I want a chill ride.
Glad you were able to make it work. That looks like a good trail, and now it’s clean again. Good job.

Hahaha! Yeah, I tell people that I am 12 lol. I'm new to atvs and man, what I workout it is. I was there this weekend again and I did 40+ miles out there. I am happy to say that my body is starting to get used to it since I am not as sore as I was on that video. Thanks for watching. Do you have a Facebook page of your club by any chance? Mine is called "The Muddy Feet Oasis".
Dude, I bought a Saturn kaboat because of you, now I need a four wheeler….. thanks a lot 😂

In reality, it is a discomfort that does not bother me cause I'm liking thos new hobby
Not for nothing brother, I love your enthusiasm and energy. My question is, Did your bike ever pass 2500 rpm? I understand that people have different riding styles but if you ride at those speeds you might want to look into a 4x4? The whole video I heard your bike saying PLEASE someone please OPEN IT UP! Rant over enjoy sir.

Not here on Wandering Wiregrass. I brought with me 10 dollars to pay for the pass but they did not have an envelope for it. I just parked and went in. The guy who I met here said that this ATV trailhead may get closed. It isn't looked after a lot and people leave a mess behind. In Florida, you must have your ATV registered. I just bought myself the annual pass "81 bucks" because I want to visit all of the OHV trails here in FL.
