Episode 9 - Part 3: Manorburn Dam
We crossed the dam at Lake Roxburgh before heading into town for a quick lunch and review of the map. We had a couple of routes marked and decided there was enough time to tackle another side road on our way back to Cromwell. This saw us cross the Clutha River again & head out to Manorburn Dam. The gate opener earned her ride today on this leg of the trip, but the scenery was stunning as we wound through the valley into the Upper Manorburn Dam. It was a little further than first thought, meaning we didn’t complete the lap out to Omakau as intended but well worth the time taken and the extra ride time in the day.
