We were so excited to finally get back to Coco Cay... it has become our favorite private island, mostly for the food, ha ha... :P

We love going for the free and thrifty options! When we were there on the Mariner in February 2020, we tried to talk more about what all was included at no charge. Love it!! :D

It comes with a security cable that you can use to tether it to a chair, tree, anything sturdy as a deterrent. Pretty handy!!

I was wondering the same, actually... most times, the fish sort of swarm when bodies hit the water, maybe because they're used to people sneaking off food to give them. I barely saw any fish up by me because maybe they aren't used to it anymore, ha ha... :P ~Jay

Sadly, no! She found that second-hand on Poshmark. It's a Brio brand that was slightly beat up, ha ha... but as little as we'll do the carry-on only vacationing, it was worth having!! :P

Gotta try that remedy of a chicken sandwich whenever I visit Perfect Day! Seems super cool!

I don't think we were catching any pieces of that storm in the gulf yet, but we got a bit of that when we headed to Cozumel. Just a rainy day that won't ruin our time on the island!! :P

Dee keeps looking for what she called "sugar bread" from our time on the Grandeur, and I think that "raisin bread" is about as close as we've found. I think we ate it every morning!! :D

I think we still agree that Coco Cay is our favorite cruise line private island so far, if you don't mind that it has a giant water park in the middle of it, ha ha... it's awesome!! :D

@@parodeejay good news! I watched it when it dropped (while I was working... Shhhh)! My tacos were definitely better, but they had a locally made tortilla and chorizo! But it looks like the burger was worth it!

Are the water slides and most everything here free? I’m sure certain things and excursions are a fee. Thanks in advance you two! Love your channel and how you present your meals each day.

The water park area is a paid excursion, with the tall slides and wave pool. We showed that off in our February 2020 series aboard the Mariner. The only freebie slides are some smaller ones at the kids area, from what we’ve seen.

Jealous, can’t wait to go back to Coco Cay!

Now I want to try the chicken sandwich. The upstate NY’er is upset that the rest of the world old finds marinara acceptable to mozzarella sticks. Melba all the way. I am trying that sandwich

We haven't found a cruise line that we don't like yet, so it's hard to say what's "better"... plus there's personal taste in there. For the ships we've sailed right now, we give the nod to Carnival for included food options and overall "fun" feeling. Royal gets the nod for desserts and sporty things like rock wall, flowrider, etc. But we always say, any day on a cruise ship is a good day! hey guys!!!! Ok so my sailing on Adventure is Aug 28th. I film underwater too so can you scoop me the rules about snorkeling there? Where do you need a life vest?? The life vest is just for going out into the deep water to snorkel around the sunken stuff & things, which we ended up showing off and talking about more in Part 5. :D

Both pronunciations are "correct" but according to island locals, the preferred is "key" so that's what we've always gone with. But I guess I can cut Royal come slack since they made up "CocoCay" as one word rather than "Coco Cay", ha ha... they're allowed to pronounce it however they want!! :P
