Hi teacher, Thanks so much for this lesson. Those words and expressions are really useful and help. I really like to listen to pundits. I'm not a whistleblower. I'm not keen on people of such a behavior. Compromise should be kept up with in some degrees of negotiation. We all are always apprehensive of cynical politicians.

Thank you Wes! Great words for talking and understanding politics. Words impeachment, quid pro quo (hard to pronounce ;)) red tape and treason were new to me, I had heard them but not really understood their meaning.

Wes, excellent lesson. I appreciate teaching us these expression on the news right now and hard to understand what is going on and not knowing who to believe. For some reason all the news are negative these days, bad feeling after reading the news but you have to read it to be informed.
