1. Offhand : little or no preparation. Thoughtless or inconsideration 2. Forthcoming: about to be made 3. Widespread: happening in many places. 4. Straightforward: not complicated or being truthful, honest, 5. So-called: named in a particular way, a word not suitable to describe someone or something 6. Egregious: extremely bad or shocking 7. Frivolous: behaving in silly way, unimportant 8. Excruciating: very painful 9. Noxious: something harmful or dangerous 10. Inveterate: done as a habit and not likely to change 11. Nefarious: morally bad 12. Preposterous: sth is absurd or ridiculous

1. Offhand- Jennie is a happy go lucky person, she took the test offhand and she failed. 2. Forthcoming- can't wait for Wes forthcoming new lesson 3. Widespread- covid 19 is a widespread disease 🦠 4. Straightforward- Wes is a brilliant teacher, he can explain topics in a straightforward and easy to understand 5. So-called- June is so-called the notorious gambler in their town 6. Egregious- the ukrain war is egregious, there are so many innocent lives lost already 7. Frivolous- my friends were acting frivolous when they are drunk 8. Excruciating- i went to the emergency room lastweek due to excruciating backpain, it's unbearable 9. Noxious- always keep your medicine in a safety cabinet because they are noxious to small children 10. Inveterate- justin is an inveterate smoker, he smokes 5 packs a day he doesn't wanna quit 11. Nefarious- talking badly against other people is nefarious 12. Preposterous- somebody stole my power bank in my bag, that's propesterous!

I often use words Flippant and paltry as synonyms to Frivolous . Thx for a cognitive lesson anyway. I've picked up some advanced words )

Very interesting and among these words I’ve seen an important false friend with the italian word “egregio” “egregious” a totally different meaning !

If one feels nauseated he or she feels sick. nauseous means causing nausea or sicking. If you feel nauseous, it means you make someone else feel nauseated!
