Tip for ronin: If you want to try and secure an execution on a Titan you’re fighting, leave them on a small amount of hp and make sure you have arc wave and a dash, you can arc wave them which will slow them down and stun them, and dash and melee as their hp goes into doomed mode

@catsharkthe85th I would like to add a few more: You can amp Satchel charges if you throw them through an A-wall. This is especially effective in Frontier Defense, since you can place them in advance on a high-traffic lane, wait for enemy titans to go by and shoot them as a titan, dealing about 3 bars of damage to enemy titans. If you place Satchel charges to Reaper spawnpoints in Bounty Hunt or in Frontier defense, the charges will auto-detonate the moment a Reaper lands on them since Reaper warpfall does a bit of damage that explodes the charges on hit. This saves a bit of time that would otherwise be used for dealing with the Reaper. Cloak has increased effectiveness if the cloaked pilot's background has a lot of light. For example, if you go to a roof where the background consist mostly of sky textures, you are much harder to spot than in a situation where you were cloaked in a dark room. Cloak effectiveness is also increased with range. You can hardy spot a Cloak user from the other side of the monorail on the map Eden. AI titans and reapers in pvp and in Frontier defense ignore you if you use electric smoke and stay inside your smoke cloud. The effect lasts for as long as the smoke persists. This is why I run double smokes on my titans in Frontier Defense. For example: I am a Legion, there are 4 AI Scorch titans in front of me, I use Gun Shield, shoot 1 titan, Gun Shield runs out, I use smoke for "cover" and continue to shoot another Scorch titan. After that, my Gun Shield is ready again, I use Gun Shield and shoot the 3rd Scorch titan, and then I use another smoke after the shield as I destroy the last titan. That way you can, for a moment, have 100 % defense uptime without taking any cover. Electric smoke deactivates Firestars. If you are a Scorch and a pilot is doing a rodeo on you while you do not have gas canisters ready, go hug a wall, put your back against a wall, look up and use flame shield. The pilot will get roasted the moment he jumps off. If you are a Tone and a pilot is doing a rodeo on you, go hug a wall, look at the wall and shoot 3 or 4 shots of 40 mm to the wall. The splash damage will get the pilot. If you are a Legion, you can avoid Ronin's Arc wave damage to your Gun Shield by looking up at about 60 degree angle while your Gun Shield is active. This works best if you look at the direction of the incoming Arc wave. In a real fight, this drastically increases your chances to win against a Ronin as this usually surprises them and throws off their attack pattern. As A Legion, use the highest possible sensitivity you are able to aim with. This way you can turn much faster while aiming the Predator Cannon. Again, this greatly, greatly helps in fights against Ronins. In Frontier Defense, shoot your buddy Legion's Gun Shield to give them titan overshield. This works, if they have the adequate Aegis rank for the upgrade. This way you can save money as you do not need to buy batteries as often. If there are 3 Legions on the team, you can save 1200 credits every round for as long as none of them takes heavy health damage. It is a huge save of money for a little bit of coordination.

you didn't know about the battery save?

I knew most of these but a lot of the ronin tips were very interesting and im a ronin and ion main so im surprised i didnt know half of those

Battery also give 20% core meter.

Yo rekt u know anything about a 180 titan punch? Apperently its a punch that can immdiatly kill pilots right after they are done rodeoing. Didint seem to work for me but the boys on the discord server say otherwise

Sure. It works. You wait for the battery pop, then turn around (quick), dash forward and punch. Works every time. Thought it is so basic that I did not put it in the video.

im still really good in a titan, but man...i just dont have the reaction time i had when i was 17 so playing as a pilot makes me feel like a floundering fish.

I am 34, I can really feel getting old playing Counter-Strike, or Quake. But for some reason, Titanfall 2 still works very well. The game plays... effortless.

Oh MB, I replayed the video and you say "So you've watched my basic guideS", I though they were I video for basic tips for a new player somewhere on your channel. Stuff like that is so minor, that it almost never effects the performance of a player in a match of attrition. Maybe it is relevant for 3 people in the highest bracket of LTS, but that mode is sadly dead.

@@mizal7893 I am sure you know what I mean. Out it the little player base this game has left, 90% of players play attrition. Then most serious players will most likely play with the Northstar Client, so what's left in public LTS, with those 15min plus queue times, is effectively a corpse.

Ronin: Dashes towards a Northstar that's doomed Northstar: *Locks the robin right by* *Nuke core eject* Ronin: *Oh fuck*
