Great video! I kind of do some of that stuff without really thinking about it, but being aware of all the different minding tricks you illustrated will help keep me thinking of ways for the bait to be in a better position on the retrieve more consistently. You da man…appreciate all of your fantastic content Nick

Very interesting stuff. I have a question, didnt get one thing. At the beginning you said you dont want an arc being created by the wind coz you wont be able to feel the fish bite. But then you are teaching how to actually make the arc so your bait would follow an adjusted trajectory. So how are you going to feel the fish bite then? Thanks!

By watching the line, but that disadvantage for a novice angler can be an advantage for the experienced angler. That’s why I started with that part.

@@InformativeFisherman I see, thanks. It would be great to see a video with your thoughts about different reel systems (Daiwa/Abu/Shimano, etc.) and why there are so many fans of one or another brand.

Wrong. You need the bow so when you retrieve, the bait changes direction to that of a live bait. Just like how you'd want a glidebait to direction to make a fish strike, you'd want that wacky worm to change direction so Bass will bite! 😂😅 jk. Very informative! Been trying to teach my boys how to feather their spool so, I'll have to show them this clip. tnx!
