Love it !! Sturdy looking piece !!
I’m a big ADV fan and currently have 4 of his, including a 2013 Butcher midtech. The others are newer slipjoints. They’re all beautifully made and vary from 2" to almost 4".

Nice video. May I ask if you would actually use the knife for butchering? I hunt and harvest many Whitetail deer. All my butchering knives are fixed blades with grippy rubberized handles for safety. As much as I like the design of the knife you reviewed, ( it's a very handsomely put together tool ) I think cleaning it after butchering would be problematic. I sometimes wonder it seems that knife designers have kind of lost the form for function mindset. Thanks for the review, well done! Also, it is a beautiful tool!

Thanks! I think the name is more about visuals than function. I'm pretty sure this blade would be more problematic for what you might use it for. Hope that helps!
